Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rovaniemi

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Das Haus gibt einem ab der ersten Minute das Gefühl zu Hause zu sein. Es ist alles da was man braucht und es gibt in der Nähe viele Aktivitäten. Die Ruhe ist unbeschreiblich und wir konnten sogar mit bloßen Auge die Nordlichter beobachten. Absolute Empfehlung da auch die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin und die Vorschläge für Aktivitäten erste Klasse sind.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war nicht nur blitzsauber, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Alles war genau wie beschrieben, wenn nicht sogar besser. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, falls Fragen aufkamen. Besonders schön fanden wir die ruhige Lage und die gemütliche Atmosphäre – der perfekte Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Sehr saubere und gute Unterkunft. Wir haben die Handtücher, Bettbezüge und den Whirlpool mit gebucht, alles war super vorbereitet und so konnten wir etwas Gepäck sparen. die Unterkunft ist etwas von der Stadtmitte entfernt aber man kann auch zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus in die Stadt gehen. Mikko war immer sofort erreichbar. Im großen und ganzen hat es uns sehr gefallen. Danke!

Sanna's place is amazing.. great facilities and complete amenities. heated floor. fire place. Sanna is very helpful and fast response when you ask anything. She even have two wall clock. One for the time in rovaniemi, and the other she set it for the time from our country. Don't forget to ask to meet Mintaka the Husky if you get a chance to stay at Sanna's place.

Das Haus und die Aussicht sind wunderschön. Es war sehr sauber und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Der Whirlpool war ein Highlight und dass wir natürlich fast jeden Abend die Nordlichter gesehen haben. Wir konnten uns sehr entspannen, aber auch einige Unternehmungen in der Gegend machen. Wir sind traurig, dass wir schon nach Hause müssen. Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum und jeden Preis wert, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke für alles.

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cosy cabin is exactly that, warm and cosy. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed our stay in ounasvaara woods. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location in the middle of stunning walking trails. 5 min walk to a viewing point where we saw the northern lights. The cabin was equipped with everything needed for our 3 night stay, including sleds for the kids. Kaisa was a great host and very kind to allow us a late checkout.

A real gem in Pyhä. Walkable to the nearest ski lift (100 meters) and to Pyhä commercial center (a few hundred meters), but still private and calm, with a beautiful view to the forest in the back of the cottage. Beautifully maintained and decorated traditional Lappish style kelomökki log cabin in Lapland. Great attention to details. Would definitely go again.

“Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Maula” Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Airbnb! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – modern, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns der atemberaubende Blick auf die finnische Landschaft und die Ruhe der Umgebung. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns jederzeit wohl fühlten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Sauna, die ein echtes Highlight war – ideal, um sich nach einem aktiven Tag zu entspannen. Die Lage war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wie hatten das Glück mehrmals die Polarlichter sehen zu können. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

We enjoyed our stay in Rovaniemi, thanks to this lovely apartment. Everything was right. Spacious, very well equipped, good (large) bed and quiet. Warm! Great location, at the edge of the city centre, but not in the busy tourist streets. In the vicinity of supermarkets and restaurants, and all the travel offices. Lauri is a very nice host, so friendly. He responded very fast.

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen erstklassigen Aufenthalt bei Janne. Alles hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Jannes Unterkunft ist geräumig und verfügt über eine private Sauna sowie einen Kamin, welche wir auch ausgiebig nutzten. Die Unterkunft ist auch ein perfekter Startpunkt für viele Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Auch die Ausrüstungen, die Janne anbietet, waren alle in einem sehr guten Zustand. Wir haben Janne zwar nicht persönlich gesehen, weil wir auch jedes Mal unterwegs waren, aber er ist ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit erreichbar war. Der Check-In und der Checkout war einfach und unkompliziert. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Eine schöne kleine rustikale Holzhütte mitten im Nationalpark. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, man kommt zu Fuß in kürzester Zeit sowohl zum Supermarkt und Restaurants als auch zur Skipiste oder schönen Wanderwegen. Die Hütte war sauber, Bad und Sauna sind super. Der Wohn- und Schlafbereich ist eher zwecksmäßig, alles ist recht eng. Die Küche könnte evtl. mal eine kleine Renovierung vertragen. Wir hatten aber trotzdem 2 tolle Tage und für unseren Aufenthalt war es völlig in Ordnung. Empfindlichen Schläfern würde ich empfehlen eine Schlafmaske und Ohrenstöpsel mitzubringen. Das Haus lässt sich im Sommer nicht abdunkeln und es gibt eine sehr laut tickende Uhr, die einem den Schlaf rauben kann.

We had a lovely 3 days at this apartment. We had all the facilities to cook and look after ourselves which was what we needed. The sauna was an added bonus. Great location and very comfortable apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed coming ‘home’ after a day of activities to the house. The sauna warms you up immediately. Evenings are too short when watching your favourite show on the home cinema. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything is available. Great place for relaxing.

Maison familiale avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très bon séjour. La chambre pour deux enfants est vraiment un gros point fort si vous venez avec des enfants ; plein de jouets et de quoi les occuper. L'emplacement est très paisible dans un petit quartier pavillonnaire en périphérie de la ville. Quelques balades à faire dans le coin à pieds, mais Il est fortement conseillé d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer plus facilement en ville ou plus loin dans les alentours. Le sauna dans la maison est aussi très sympa après une journée épuisante. Pour résumer, on a passé un très bon séjour dans une maison très agréable pour petits et grands.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem tollen Haus. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Es war einfach alles wunderbar. Von der Aussicht bekommt man nie genug. I had an incredible time staying at Svetlana’s cabin! The location was perfect and a short drive to Santa Claus Village and the perfect getaway place to Lapland. The space itself was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and comfortable. Svetlana was very tentative and checkin on us to ensure we got everything we need. She even notify us the Aurora outside our cabin!

Ein magischer Aufenthalt in Lappland! Wir danken euch von ganzem Herzen für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses haben wir gespürt, wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ihr in jedes Detail gesteckt habt, ohne diese wäre es nur halb so schön gewesen. Das Haus ist nicht nur geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch perfekt ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Die warme, gemütliche Atmosphäre hat uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen lassen, ein wahres Wintermärchen. Und ein Highlight waren die Polarlichter. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: verschneite Landschaften, absolute Ruhe und dennoch perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge in die Natur oder nach Rovaniemi. Wir konnten uns keinen besseren Ort vorstellen, um Lappland zu erleben. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft und all die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 💝✨

This was a great place to stay for groups! Good amount of living space to hang out and spend time. The Sauna was lovely to use each night, especially as we came in winter when it was still snowing and cold! It’s a bit of a walk into town, so as long as you’re ok with that or have a car or use taxis. But the walk is easy and you get to see some of the scenery. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay and Daria was lovely!

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Mökki oli lyhyen matkan päässä keskustasta ja paikalle oli helppo löytää. Varustelut oli mökissä todella hyvät ja palju kruunasi varsinkin lasten reissun :) Siisteyteen voisi panostaa vähän enemmän myös sesonkien ulkopuolella, esimerkiksi sänkyjen alla pyöri pölypalloja. Mutta tämä oli ainut miinus, tulisimme uudelleenkin!
