Monthly Rentals in Rouvas

We are delighted with our stay at Eleni's place! The accommodation is well located in Nivritos (be sure to take the right road by car). Eleni had prepared lots of nice touches (water, juice, cheese, ham, fresh fruit, raki...) We were able to do Zaros and Phaistos from Nivritos. Our favorite: Dimitri's tavern and Koula. We recommend this place!!

This cosy villa was the perfect backdrop to a very memorable trip. The balcony offers beautiful views, the village is peaceful and welcoming, and we liked the convenience of being just a 25 minute drive from Heraklion city. We had all the amenities we needed, and everything is as described. Many thanks to our hosts Apo and Despoina for their warmth and hospitality! We had a wonderful stay.

Thank you very much Argiro and Mihail! you are gracious, generous and considerate hosts. We were gifted with a wealth of goodies to enjoy… jams, olive oil, raki, wine, olives, all home made AND when the unusual heatwave struck, Mihail installed air conditioned from one day to the next!! we enjoyed it and I’m sure this is a great addition to comfort at beautiful Villa Strata for future guests. Our long-term stay in Gergeri facilitated our exploration of the Island from the geographical center, a 35 minutes drive to the nearest beach on the south, 45 minutes to Heraklion on the north and many beautiful and surprising places around. We were confortable and strategically located. This is a cultural-immersive-exploration kind of place for travellers interested in going beyond the “walk-to-the-beach-every-day” experience.

The little village of Plouti is an amazing and unique location. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a plumbing issue during our stay, but Aris was responsive and did what he could to get it sorted out. There is the added bonus for cat lovers, many friendly cats can be found in the neighborhood.
