A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Julie was very friendly. The apartment is very spacious with a very big garden. It was very quiet and I slept like a baby because the bed was great. I am definitely recommending the place to anyone who loves being close to nature. It is also very walkable from the apartment to downtown Angoulême (around 15 mins).

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

The house is located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery and birds. It is independent of Christian and Christine's house located just behind. The house is very well equipped and comfortable inside and outside (garden furniture, deckchair, petanque court, etc.). We were warmly welcomed and Christian's advice was invaluable. We took advantage of the tranquility of the place and made many visits and walks in the surroundings. In short, a very pleasant stay and beautiful encounters.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Sylvie was a great host. The house was lovely. The outdoor area, swimming pool and beautiful garden was perfect for outdoor living. Close proximity to Cognac ensured that all services were only a short drive away.

Corinne and Antoine are very good hosts, it was a very nice meeting! The accommodation is very well designed and well equipped. Gorgeously located gem in the heart of Cognac, this is a super apartment ideal for enjoying the areas beauty - perfect for long strolls, accessible to Cognac's best eateries and only a stone's throw from the famed distilleries.

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

We had chosen ‘Le Manoir’ for its setting and decoration ‘So British’ We weren't disappointed! On the contrary, we immediately felt good in our vacation home. Thanks in particular to the details (old beds but excellent bedding) very well equipped kitchen and what about the grandiose bathroom!!!! We only have one small downside: the dishes for 6 people are a little fair. Scottie's hospitality and responsiveness as well as Kerstie live up to the place.

A great weekend of rest and sharing in this little corner of paradise! The environment is heavenly, and the accommodation is really lovely!

We spent a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute peace and quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

Guylene is a welcoming and smiling person as well as her spouse. The place is peaceful and relaxing for a stopover. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Excellent welcome from Véronique and her husband, with a lot of friendliness and a very friendly presence: you feel a little "at home"! The listing is as described. It is particularly warm, furnished and tastefully decorated. The outdoor area is really nice. In short, a beautiful place where we will return with great pleasure.

We had a great week in this accommodation. Everything was as advertised, very clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. The host was very responsive, welcoming and thoughtful throughout the stay. We felt right at home! Special mention for accepting our two dogs without any problems, it has become rare and we really appreciated it. Everything was in place for a successful holiday. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back. Again, thank you for a great week!
