Monthly Rentals in Rou

We had a great two nights staying here. There is everything you need. We walked to Mount Pantokrator, the footpath starts just outside the gate and you follow the orange signs throughout. We parked in the main square and walked around 2/3 minutes to the apartment. A tip - enter from Achravi or your sat nav may send you on dirt tracks to get there! It's about 20 minutes up the mountain from there.

Vivi and her family were so helpful and friendly, always available with advice and help. The studio is small but clean and comfortable and I felt very happy there as a solo traveller. The area is quiet and beautiful, with some lovely walks to lots of different bays and empty beaches. Kalami beach is about a minute’s walk away but there are so many other places to walk to. I always felt safe and well looked after by everyone I met. I would recommend either having a car, or visiting after 1st May, as that’s when the nearby tavernas open. There are other places to eat before then, but not within walking distance. But with a car there are plenty of options. I had a fantastic week and would definitely come back. We felt very comfortable at the place. Very easy and flexible check in. We especially noticed that the amenities are above average, there was nothing missing. The only negative is that the wifi didn't work on some devices.

We stayed 5 nights in the apartment and loved every single one of it. The apartment looks like the pictures, is nicely furnished and well equipped. I especially want to highlight the excellent cleanness of the apartment! We felt like home the whole time and enjoyed the amazing view over the ocean. We got a little cold during the first night due to unexpected weather, the host reacted immediately and brought us a warm blanket and told us that it’s also possible to heat with the Air Con. It might be important to mention that the street to the house is very steep and you should be a skilled, confident driver for it but it’s totally worth because of the view! If we‘ll find our way back to corfu, this will be our place to stay again for sure! Thanks so much for the nice hospitality!
