Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rottal-Inn

Very nice and high-quality furnished chalet. We lacked nothing, neither the equipment of the kitchen nor that of the other rooms left anything to be desired. The location and the surrounding nature are indescribably beautiful and invite you to take both smaller walks and longer hikes. Tourist "hotspots" such as the treetop path are also easy to reach by car. Another highlight is the wellness equipment, which was really easy to use after a short introduction. The combination of sauna and whirlpool ensures total relaxation and recovery from everyday life. The cleanliness of the chalet and the furnishings should be emphasised. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back☺️.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. Claudia's chalet was delightful. Perched on the edge of the forest with a beautiful garden, hot tub, a spacious and elegantly decorated house, it was a brilliant place to stay and we loved our time there. Claudia is so warm and welcoming, the perfect host.

We enjoyed the beautiful terrace with the lake view. However, the wide view from above also means that the lake or place is not so easily accessible on foot. However, a taxi to the apartment is comparatively cheap.

What a charming place to stay! The details in the design of the place were wonderful and the beds were cozy. We had a great time and would love to stay again.

This was a perfect fit for our family. The grocery was an easy walk around the corner. The bus stop was a block away for access to everything in Salzburg and the train station. Thank you Helmut for the wonderful hospitality and all the local guidance.

The house is located in a very nice location in the middle of the meadows and has a nice garden. The interior is spacious and clean. Gisela is a helpful and kind host. Highly recommended

With Doris, we felt at home from the first moment. The accommodation is super clean, lovingly furnished and totally cozy – just to feel good. Doris is an incredibly warm hostess who has prepared everything with great attention to detail. We will definitely be happy to come back!

From the beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly family. The farm with alpacas, playful dogs, a donkey and other animals was a real highlight - especially for our little son. The apartment is cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Beautifully located in the middle of nature! Rea's apartment is wonderful - it's very big with one vast, one normal-sized and one smaller bedroom. It's light and airy and we particularly liked that you could walk outside into the kitchen/dining room, the huge bedroom and the normal-sized one without going through the internal corridor. The one bathroom is huge and contains a bath-cum-shower. The beds are comfortable, and 5 people could easily sleep there. Rea herself was so smiling, friendly and welcoming - it was a pleasure to meet her and her son. Eugendorf village centre is about 800 metres down the road, with the shops you would need. (Prices are extremely high : but this is the case everywhere in this part of Austria.) The S-Bahn station is down the road, and there is one train an hour into Salzburg Hbf. The wifi was good in parts of the apartment, particularly the kitchen area. The piano can be played, but it needs a tune and a general revision 😀. I enjoyed playing it nevertheless. All in all we loved our stay- thanks!

We had very nice and welcome days at the farm of Brigitte & family. The apartment in the attic is larger than it looks in the pictures, is very clean and offers everything you need for a cozy stay. The location is great in itself, in a quiet side street and you can reach everything in Bernau on foot and relaxed. But you also have to know that you can hear the highway at night; not extremely, but it is there. :-) We would still love to come back!

Marion's apartment is furnished with total love and attention to detail. Everything was super clean, nothing was missing! We were particularly impressed by the many toys and the variety of comfortable seating options! Marion was always available and totally friendly! And she has a wonderful studio with so many beautiful things! All in all, a wonderful stay to unwind! Thank you, Marion!

I was personally received in a very friendly manner by Gerlinde. The accommodation has everything you need and is very nicely located in nature. By bus, you can reach the accommodation from Salzburg main station in about 45 minutes. Thalgau city center is just under a kilometer away where you can get everything. I left early because of the weather forecast (heavy rain) but still felt very comfortable. I'd love to come back!

When I saw the first picture, I immediately thought: "Wow, how beautiful!" - the holiday home with balcony was shown there. On site, we were accommodated on the ground floor, but even from there, we had a wonderful panorama. During our stay, there was a small problem, but it was quickly taken up by Judith and quickly resolved – the caretaker was even very quick on site. Our short stay was very nice overall, and everything was as described. The bed linen was a bit older, but it served its purpose. The location is very quiet, and the locals are extremely friendly. Thank you!

Very nice, especially Hauzenberg has plenty to offer. A granite museum, granite quarries, restaurants, ice cream parlors, playgrounds, swimming lake and many opportunities to do sports. Directly at the apartment there is a nice pool, a sauna with indoor pool. All in all very nice and recommended.

We were guests of Maria and Josef for an extended hiking weekend. I can only agree with the previous reviews - we had a wonderful AirBnB experience in the best sense, as it was originally intended! You will occupy the upper floor of the detached house - enough privacy, but also "family connection"! Maria and Josef have a big heart, are very friendly, open and helpful and gave us great tips for our hikes. The rooms are spacious, super clean, furnished in a traditional style, you have a great view everywhere, the balcony offers space to eat. The location is very quiet and surrounded by nature, yet you are only a few minutes' drive from the village for shopping or the motorway and can also reach more distant destinations quickly. There is plenty to explore in the area, from easy walks to challenging summit tours! We immediately felt comfortable and welcome and would come back without hesitation!
