Great place, really nice to stay at. Comfy beds and lovely touches with the crumpets jam, teas and coffee. Well decorated and nice outside space out the back too. We had a good time. Only points would have been nice to have an armchair in the front room as there was 4 of us. There was some parts that needed a bit of a clean and a few spider webs in corners etc but didn’t affect our stay.

Was a lovely place to stay, perfect if you have a dog you want to bring on holiday. Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay and Jess the host was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful Airbnb. Absolutely loved Charlesworths. Location was excellent for us and the area felt lovely and almost village like. We ate at The Peacock on the first night and joined in their quiz night. Now wins, but great fun had, with lovely food. The accomodation had everything we needed, and we all felt right at home. Would definitely stay again. 👌💯

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Just had a few days here this week and once again had the most amazing stay with my best friend. I had stayed before and it didn’t disappoint once again and my friend thought it was so relaxing and an ideal spot for walking straight from the door! Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough cannot wait to come back!

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Impressive pool, garden furniture and landscaping to make the most of the sun. Ideal location for touring local sites. Izzy and partner were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

A beautifully clean and well equipped stay, hosts were out of this world and so attentive. Providing us some baby bits to assist with our stay was so helpful and kind. We would recommend this stay to anybody and we will definitely visit again. The site in which the accommodation is based has a pool on site, little shop and a fantastic children’s area which makes it so family friendly. Our stay and the accommodation was faultless.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Brilliant location, we stayed at Clover House before and after our wedding in Sheffield with a party of six. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation and the hot tub was lovely and well maintained. Also loved the goats and great space in the field for taking our dog with lots of walking available nearby. We also visited Matlock farm park 5 minutes down the road which was a big hit with our 3 year old niece. Overall great dog friendly house and location, and host available and responsive to queries. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Had such a wonderful stay at this location. The amenities were amazing, particularly loved the farm produce and onsite pool! The hosts were always responsive and keen to help. The place was spotless and well stocked! Would love to stay again!

Lovely stay, cottage is hard to find at first as the address listed doesn’t take you directly to it. There is no parking for the property however parking is available on the road adjacent or in the village which is just a 2 minute walk. Some gifts were left which were a lovely touch and the beds were very comfy. The cottage felt very homely and was full of all the basics you need for cooking and cleaning etc. Overall very nice stay compared to some of my previous trips and I have recommended the cottage to family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a high spec and in a great area. there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and we found the locals to all be very friendly and chatty.. our big dog is like a celebrity wherever we take him so that's always a conversation starter! For other dog owners - the yard is VERY secure and you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without worrying about them. There are light coloured carpets in some rooms downstairs but I had read that on previous reviews so bought many blankets and towels to cover the floor where the dogs would walk and lie.our dogs wouldn't go to the toilet on the yard and the grassy area isn't enclosed from the owners area so we made sure we had them on a lead. Not really an issue but I didn't realise the garden wouldn't be enclosed..only mentioning it to help others. We didn't get to meet Scott but when I had a question he was always super quick in replying .will definitely be back

I was just as happy with this, my second stay at Emma's bungalow, as my previous stay The bungalow is clean, tidy, cosy and very well equipped for self catering It is a perfect location for me to visit family in Derby and I really like Belper itself Emma is very easy to communicate with and very responsive - she quickly came to my rescue with an apparent problem I had with the cooker! (the cooker wasn't faulty btw!) I hope to be stay here again and am happy to recommend to others

Lovely place, ideally located. Beds very comfy. Log burner was great and kicked out a lot of heat. Great pub a stones throw and a chippy. Nice touches with the bath salts and lovely smelling soap. DON’T forget your towels!

Our stay at the Grooms Lodge was our second and we're so glad we booked in advance to secure our Easter vacation here. Julie is a wonderful host who contacted us prior to arrival to check our ETA and to make sure everything was ready for our stay. The accommodation has everything we could need ie fridge, oven, kettle etc. The shower room is well speckled and very clean. Once we were parked on the private driveway we felt safe and secure letting our dog play and wander around the garden. Seeing the horses in the fields helps us to feel relaxed. Plus the canal is very close to the property so we enjoyed many morning strolls before joining our family for Easter celebrations. We both feel completely rested after our stay at The Grroms Lodge. We had a lovely break at the Piggery which was exactly as described. The cottage was clean, comfy, peaceful and very well equipped so provided everything we needed for a relaxing few days. There were plenty of nice walks around the local countryside and the secure outside space was ideal for our dog, so highly recommended.

We had the most amazing stay celebrating our little girl’s first birthday at this beautiful shepherd’s hut! Jill was so lovely and welcoming, she greeted us personally and even left a gorgeous hamper for us, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The hut was cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing break. Our daughter loved every minute of her birthday holiday. One day, we took a scenic drive to Alton Towers—it's not far at all and made for a fun day out. After a day of walking and exploring, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax, and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Old Hall nearby. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to make memories, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! Stacey, Joe & Baby Olive xx

A real dog friendly place in a beautiful setting . I stayed for a couple of nights with my 2 dogs and Catherine’s place was perfect ! With lots of enclosed space for the dogs to run and thoughtful touches like dog bowels and treats this place is REALLY dog friendly. Clear instructions which were very helpful and clean accommodation. I can highly recommend this host and their place .

We had a wonderful stay at Crooked Nook. The garden is a perfect sun trap for enjoying a beer or making friends with the sheep neighbours. The cottage is cosy and beautifully decorated, with everything you could need. The map bedroom was a particular favourite! Tracy was a wonderful and thoughtful host and the location was idyllic.
