Beachfront holiday rental in Rosscarbery

My family stayed at Esther's place for 4 nights. We had the most wonderful time! The house has beautiful views of the ocean and is a short walk from both Inchydoney beach and the hotel. The house was clean and spacious with room for the whole family including our dog. Esther was welcoming and provided lots of great recommendations for the local area. We would definitely recommend Esther's place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday by the beach!

We spent 4 lovely nights at Mary's place! Perfectly positioned between Schull and Ballydehob, the apartment is in a peaceful area only a short walk from numerous coves perfect for a morning swim. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and was very clean. Mary and her husband were really helpful and friendly! I'd definitely recommend Mary's place to others

La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

What a beautiful place, and what a view! We definitely didn’t stay long enough and if they’ll have us back, we’d like to stay longer next time. Martin & Claire were fantastic hosts and made my family feel so welcome. I really appreciate all the efforts they went to for us and we really loved our stay. Absolutely wonderful place with a beautiful garden. It is right on the shoreline and I loved grabbing the chance to pop in for a swim whenever I felt like it. Stephanie was really friendly and helpful. It is a great base for exploring the area and we loved coming back in the evenings to a little oasis of peace.

We had a great time while at this Airbnb. Great location and views. Short drive to Clonakilty which is a great town. Short walk to Inchydoney beach. Airbnb comes with plenty of essential items. Beds are comfy. Host was incredibly helpful, friendly and proactive..was a pleasure to deal with! Would highly recommend!!

Schönes kleines und idilisch gelegendes Tiny House. Mate hat uns freundlich begrüßt. Die Unterkunft war schön und sauber eingerichtet. In 10 Minuten ist man direkt im Dorf, dort gibt es 3 Pubs , sowie einen kleinen Laden.

The house in Rosscarbery was wonderful and located near the beautiful lake, town, and beach. Mary Jo was an excellent host and gave us great recommendations for the area. The place was comfortable and just as pictured. One km down the road from the house was an excellent fish and chip cafe! We grabbed some and went to the beach!! Perfect holiday getaway. HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful location. Helen could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Would not hesitate to come back for another stay!

We werden warm welkom geheten door Karin en Reinhard. De ruimte overtrof onze verwachtingen. Wat een prachtige prive plek. Een hele grote tuin met diverse zitjes en in het huisje zelf is alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijn verblijf. Wij hadden slechts twee nachten geboekt en eigenlijk is dat te kort. Dus wie weet komen we nog eens terug. Je kunt prachtige ritten en wandelingen maken in de omgeving en aanraders zijn Three Castles, Mizen Head en Crookshaven. Ook zijn er diverse idilische stranden . Karin kan je goede tips geven voor restaurants of plekken om te bezoeken. Ðe 5 sterren meer dan waard.

Admiral House was the perfect spot for family getaway on beautiful Bere Island. The house was clean and had every amenity needed including a stroller and high chair for a toddler. Lots to explore on the island and there are 2 local ferries for day trips to Beara Peninsula. The host and her grandma were so kind dropping off Irish bread and a quiche. All in all a lovely visit would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing time.

Claire's place is everything as advertised and more, we had beach walks, forest walks, mountain treks and came back to a home away from home, it was lovely and comfy. We didn't need Claire for much as there was nothing wrong but we did have the pleasure of meeting with her and that just added to the overall experience, she is super friendly and a wealth of local knowledge. Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, in der ich je war. absolut sauber und gemütlich (der Kamin war schon vorbereitet, wir mussten ihn nur noch anzünden!). Wir haben stundenlang auf dem Sofa gesessen, der Stille gelauscht und das Meer und die vielen Tiere beobachtet. Die Anfahrt ist mit Hilfe der guten Erklärungsvideos auch kein Problem. Einfach langsam fahren und auf die Anweisungen achten.

We had a luxurious and wonderful stay at Niall’s. The apartment is fantastic, it has everything you need even for a longer stay. Bus into the city is located very close to the apartment. Niall was flexible with our check in and check out times which helped us a lot. I cannot recommend this place enough.

After a very long drive, we were happy to find that Ann had fresh food, cheese and wine ready for us. A warm welcome indeed. Questions were almost immediatly answered. A warm recommendation!

We loved ever second of our stay here. Perfect for a big family/group holiday.. the house was spotless, spacious and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was a gorgeous welcome basket waiting for us with bubbly, cheeses, chocolate, coffee, etc. - a very nice touch that was much appreciated! Beautiful outdoor area with brand new bbq and seats, over looking amazing views of the sea. Sitting room was very cosy with stove which was used most nights! All bedrooms were very comfortable and showers were 10/10. There was very much a luxurious feel to the place with a lot of attention to detail - like great quality towels and linen, diffusers, etc.! Location wise , 5-10 mins from ballydehob- ideal for coffees in the AM, and 10 mins from Schull with nice lunch spots and pub! We can’t wait to come back! Exceeded our expectations! The photos do not do this place justice. It’s an extraordinary setting. Incredibly peaceful and stunning scenery all around. Our party had three kids under 9 and seven adults ranging from 39-83 and we all got exactly what we wanted from the stay. The kids had the beach and rocks to explore for fish and crabs, the parents had the views and peace and quiet to unwind. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind then look no further.

We stayed in Dave’s home for 3 nights but wanted to stay forever. The home is well equipped, cosy, cool artwork and loads of records to listen to. The mature garden is stunning to relax in and look over the ocean. Down the end of the garden is steps to the beach where we spent the whole weekend swimming and kayaking - absolute heaven! We brought a kayak but there was even one for us to use at the house! It’s literally beside a lovely little pub and a few minutes walk from a restaurant (the mussels are so fresh and tasty!). We enjoyed every minute and Dave was a fantastic host. Thanks! Robin & Danny

Morgan’s place was fantastic - a wonderful space for a group of friends to stay. Lots of room to sleep and large entertaining spaces. The location was perfect - right next to the beach and very peaceful. Great walking spots nearby and beautiful little villages to explore. Thank you so much Morgan, we loved it!

We had a most comforatable and enjoyable stay at Robert's Anchorage home. It was very well equipped, lovely location and thoughtfully presented. Robert's instructions were timely, clear and helpful.

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!

Craig and Claudia gave us and our dog a wonderful welcome to Heir island. Heir island is one of the few truly unspoiled spots in ireland and is well worth a visit and an explore. It's a short ferry ride from Cunnamore pier and once on the island the walk to Roaring Water Lodge is an easy 10-15 minute stroll. Despite there only being a handful of cars on the little island, there is always a car available to take bags and to offer a lift too if you don't fancy the walk, but we recommend the walk. Pizzas made to order in their outdoor fire are delicious and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious too. A lovely range of breads, fruits and cereals and the Full Irish available too. Clean comfortable rooms and powerful showers to wash down the salt from the fresh Atlantic dip! Friendly and relaxed rooms within the accommodation allows everyone to enjoy their own space or to mingle and share stories. Craig and Claudia are relaxed hosts working away in the background, always happy to chat and to provide extra tips and information on the local area. We highly recommend a stay in this fab little spot, especially if you need to bring your canine friend (provided they enjoy sea travel)! They will love Heir island too!

The house had everything we needed for a lovely holiday, fresh flowers were lovely and cake , wine and bagels a nice surprise. The garden is stunning and access to the sea through gate at end of garden was wonderful for swimming and boarding .
