Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

If you want a hot drink, a kettle is at your disposal. Breakfast by reservation will be served between 7am and 10am.

You will stay at the second floor of our village house in Labeaume, a stone's throw from the river. We offer evening meals at the table d'hôte for a supplement payable on site at €18/person, to be booked in advance. Meals partly made with products from our organic farm.

On the garden level of our house (We live upstairs) discover a small independent cocoon bathed in calm and greenery, for a peaceful break. The 1 st accommodation is equipped with 1 bedroom with 1 bed of 1.60, 1 living room with sofa bed, a bathroom, 1 summer kitchen, and 1 swimming pool. The small chalet is 10 meters from the house, it includes: 1 double bed, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, 1 terrace.

Room in owner's single-family home, with private bathroom/toilet (hairdryer and iron provided). Possibility to cook on site (gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, barbecue). Small private terrace for eating, bocce ball court. Wi-Fi, TV in the bedroom, heating or air conditioning. Of course, we prepare breakfasts for you in the morning, with our homemade jams and honey from Vallon. Swimming pool available.

The Gite du Ruisseau is located in an isolated farmhouse in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. It consists of three different places: A main room. Kitchen and living room, a relaxation office room and a bedroom. A door gives access to the private terrace. You also have access to other terraces to share, as well as the stream where you can cool off.
