Cottage holiday rentals in Roseland

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

Wow, what a gem! This place was charming, spacious, neat, with a great backyard and conveniently situated within 15 minutes of anything you could need or want. This is not your bare minimum cut and paste Airbnb—the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and luxurious, the decor was unique, the space was toddler friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked. A great stay for a group overall, we’ll be back!

Easy check-in and felt right at home. Jennifer was always responsive to messages. She also gave great suggestions for food etc. The house is located perfectly for walking to the beach, market, restaurants, coffee. It is also a great location for quick travels to New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Michigan City and more. We will visit again for sure!

We loved our stay! The cottage was so cute and very clean. It is in a residential area, but still feels very private. The neighborhood was quiet. The outside/backyard area is amazing. We could walk everywhere (restaurants, shops, beach, market, etc…). We did not get into our car once from when we parked it until we left. Nancy was so nice to work with. She called us on our way there to let us know the hot tub motor was not working. That was not a big deal us, but she was proactive in telling us and she had it fixed by the next day. We would 100% recommend staying here and might book it again ourselves.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and flexible, making everything so easy and welcoming from start to finish. This home holds a lot of sentimental value for our family — we spent many years vacationing in this area growing up — and it meant so much to be able to return to the area and create new memories in such a beautiful, well-kept space. We couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, meaningful getaway.

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

This is our 5th year of vacationing in New Buffalo and have stayed at Missy's place on 3 of those visits! The house works beautifully for our family (7 adults and 4 kids under 6 yo) and you're never tripping over each other, which makes it so relaxing! We'll be back!!

We loved our winter stay here with our dog. Fran thought of everything from extra blankets to dog waste bags! We wanted for nothing & loved the short walk to the main strip of town. Beds were comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean, the fenced yard was great for the dog, and communication with host was very responsive. We highly recommend this charming cottage for any time of the year. We will definitely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay here (our second year in a row), and it was just as good as we remembered! Came with my husband, 2 young kids, and dog - and everyone loved our trip. The house, yard, games, and location were all perfect! And hosts were very communicative.

What an amazing treasure! My husband, our fur babies and I stayed for the long Memorial Day weekend and could not have been more pleased!! The view - perfection! We Airbnb often but have never stayed anywhere that was better stocked! Absolutely everything we could have needed! We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place. House was super clean and comfortable. Loved the outside porch set up as well as ability to dine outside in bark yard. We always enjoy this area as the hiking for our dog is amazing.

We had a great time in New Buffalo! Airbnb is in an excellent location, walking to Beer Church was awesome! Would totally stay again.

What a beautiful location! Loved all the trees, beautiful yard to play games, super big fire pit, deck and grill was spotless! The inside was nice and spacious for the size. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The basement was large! We had an incredible time. Would come back for a longer vacation!

We rented this home for our extended family to stay in town during our son's graduation party, and it worked out perfectly. The house is spacious enough for everyone to spread out, with plenty of room to gather for meals. The family enjoyed the lake and kayaks and loved the view. Cari was extremely easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place, and have actually already suggested it to other family members. It is a little hidden gem on Bankson Lake!

Nicole was a great host. My family and I wanted an end of summer trip and this was perfect! The house was as described and as it looks in the photos. We took the boat out each day fishing. We also took the kayaks out for a bit. With a bit of rainy weather we played games. Nicole has a wide variety of games to chose from with any unfortunate weather. When reaching out to Nicole she answered very quick with great recommendations.

Third time staying here - we love this place. Brendon and Bryndal do an amazing job communicating and their place is always clean and in great shape. We like the walking areas near the house for our pup and the disc golf in Michigan City. Always a pleasure to visit - thanks

It was another magical stay at the Point. Beautiful, private, serene setting, even during a busy time on the lake. The house was as immaculately clean and comfortable as it has been on our previous visits. We're tall -- both six feet -- and the slanted ceiling in the kitchen/bathroom (mentioned in another review) has never been a concern. Loren is the best host I've worked with on Airbnb, offering clear instructions and quick communication.

We choose Trevah’s place for our family weekend getaway. It was fun. My granddaughter enjoyed the spacious home. She answered our questions in a timely manner and was helpful getting us connected with the Marina to rent a pontoon for the day. Our family had a blast. The one thing that we all had to get used to was the lack of window shades, specially for the sunrise. Don’t get us wrong. We loved all the windows. But it was something to get used to. Definitely would will consider coming back. Thank you Trevah for sharing your home with us. Otherwise lovely home.

Stayed for a long weekend and the place was just what we needed. The location has plenty of privacy but is very close to the lake, Union Pier, Three Oaks and New Buffalo which provided plenty of things to do. Nature preserve within a 5 min walk of the house was a nice surprise. The house was well stocked with essentials, nicely decorated and up to date. I would definitely stay here again.

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

We loved our stay! This house a bigger than it seems in the photos. Spacious living room perfect for spending time together after a day of walking the trails. Chris was a great host, always communicating and quick to respond to a message. Would definitely stay again.
