Saval Lake great for swimming, fishing/ice fishing, canoeing. Lysløypa right outside the cabin. 5 min with car to ski resort, ice skating rink and Nissehuset/hotel. 15 min walk. The field has road barrier; 80 NOK drive in, pay via app.

In the summer, cows graze in the nearby fields; the traditional barn is now a cultural centre, run by Fjøsakademiet.
