Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

Enjoy nature with hikes in the mountains in the immediate area, both on skis and on foot. Go out on the sea with kayaks or a boat. Take a drive to Åndalsnes, Trollstigen, Ålesund or Molde. Come home and enjoy the evening with great food on the grill and relax around the campfire. The hot tub is ready to relax in after the day's activity.
