Åse and Alex have created a truly special place surrounded by forest and innately connected to nature. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and cosy, with a view out towards the private beach and sea. We felt immediately relaxed and wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks to Åse and Alex for being attentive and helpful host, giving recommendations for walks in the local area. I highly recommend.

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

Sehr schöne, einfache Hütte, in den Bergen. Nur zu Fuss zu erreichen, daher das Nötigste in einem Rucksack mitnehmen. Kein Wasser im Haus, aber mit Sauna kann man gut kalt Duschen oder es gibt die Möglichkeit eine Druckkanister mit heißem Wasser zu füllen und so warm unter den Sternen zu duschen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben !!!

Das kleine Häuschen ist ein echtes Schmuckstück! Für große Menschen sind die Betten leider etwas zu kurz, das hat uns allerdings nicht betroffen.😁 Sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung des Hauses haben uns sehr überzeugt, diese Unterkunft merken wir uns gerne. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hat uns beim Check-In begrüßt und ein paar Tipps gegeben. So wünscht man sich das!

Magnifique hangar à bateaux, le lieux est magnifique et clame , la maison superbe avec tous ce dont vous pouvez avoir besoin, rien ne manque. Endroit majestueux sous le soleil comme sous la pluie. Jostein est présent si vous avez besoins de lui et très discret si vous êtes autonome, un hôte parfait.

As young people struggling with money we were absolutely fine with what we received. Except from the charge taken by Airbnb as commission (about 20€) it’s been quite affordable in comparison to offers nearby. Would definetly recommend!

Vi var 3 netter på hytta til Frank i påska 2025. Flott liten hytte med alle nødvendige fasiliteter. Alt var rent og ryddig. Kort avstand til Farsund, Loshavn, Vanse og Lista Fyr. En plass i landlige omgivelser vi virkelig kan anbefale.

Die Kommunikation mit Ingrid war äußerst freundlich und auf Nachfragen wurde schnell und offen reagiert. Die Hütte ist wirklich sehr süß und die Leiter ins Schlafzimmer hat mittlerweile Kult-Status erreicht. :D Entspannung pur und die Außendusche war überhaupt kein Problem. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist phantastisch.

Vi hadde et fint opphold (selvom det regnet mye) veldig kjekt sted å bo når man har hund. Gåavstand til Skudeneshavn. Rent og pent på felles toalett, bad og kjøkken😊

Tom has been really open and friendly! He even welcomed us to join him and His family in their activities! If you’re looking for the “standard” airbnb, luxury flat and waterfall shower that is not the place. But if you want a unique experience that I believe is worth the experience, in a cozy place with a surprising original design, that is the place. 15 min walking from the centre, 5 minutes ish from the nearest bus stop and Meny (shopping centre). Beautiful experience and Tom was a special person to meet. God bless you all, above everything in your life, seek Jesus! 👌🏼❤️🙌🏼😊

Nous vous recommandons cet cabine pour profiter d'un moment de calme avec une vue magnifique. L'hôte est très accueillant, il s'est déplacé pour nous fournir de quoi faire un feu sur le brasero extérieur. Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable. Encore merci.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön gelegen in den Bergen vor dem Priekestolen. Der Ausblick ins Grüne ist wunderschön und von der eigenen Couch direkt am großen Fenster gut zu überblicken. Trinkwasser muss selber mitgebracht werden und das vorhandene Wasser reicht eher nur für kurze Duschen! Wer damit zurecht kommt ist hier genau richtig !! Ich würde wieder kommen.

wonderful location and a unique experience. the second floor is a hassle with small children and the cabin is a bit hard to reach with a lot of luggage in snow season, something to be aware off. Cabin is not very big, but really well designed and a joy to be in. Overall very pleased and great communication and great service from host, who even drove up with firewood when I reported it had gone empty.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr idyllisch und ruhig,oben in den Bergen. Man hört nichts außer die Schafe und das Wasser. In der Hütte war genug Holz zum Heizen und der Bach um Wasser zu holen war nicht weit. Wir konnten unter einem Wasserfalls duschen, was recht frisch war. Wir haben die Berge in der Gegend erkundet und wilde Heidelbeeren gegessen und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Schafe waren sehr süß und wir folgten ihren Fährten. Rolf half uns sehr geholfen in dem er uns mehrmals mit seinem Auto brachte. Er transportierte uns mit unseren Einkäufen vom Dorf wieder hoch zur Hütte und brachte uns zur Fähre, so dass wir nicht auf den Bus angewiesen waren.

Fantastic place! The cabin is even more beautiful than in the pictures and has everything you need. I loved the hot shower and the comfortable bed! The location is peaceful, with great hikes like Preikestolen nearby, and a ferry that offers spectacular views of the Lysefjord from the water. Alf is super responsive, friendly, and a great host. Absolutely worth it!
