Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

You’ll love this place because of the great location. Close to Sierra College, Folsom Lake and Rocklin Crossings for shopping and dining. Galleria Mall just a couple of miles away and just a short drive to the mountains for rafting, hiking or skiing. This is a very cozy home with comfy beds and open spaces for dining and relaxing. The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our two small dogs, Alice and Charlie.
