The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Casa Alvino (5+2 posti letto) è circondata da un ampio e ombreggiato giardino all'interno di una pineta secolare molto esclusiva. La spiaggia è privata e dista circa 300m dall'abitazione. La casa ha 2 camere matrimoniali, 1 camera singola, 2 bagni con doccia di cui uno più piccolo senza bidet, soggiorno e cucina. Nel soggiorno c'é un divano letto matrimoniale. Sulla spiaggia c'è una tettoia parasole in legno con due lettini e due sdraio e un piccolo capanno per cambiarsi e lasciare qualcosa.

Podere Piazza ist ein Landgut, hat seinen Ursprung im 15. Jahrhundert, das Ferienhaus wurde Anfang 17. Jahrhundert erbaut. Podere Piazza war der Wohnsitz von Alessandro Cervini degli Spannocchi, der am 29 Mai 1747 zum Erzbischof von Siena ernannt wurde, er war ein Nobile di Montepulciano und Patrizier von Siena. Die Gebäude von Podere Piazza tragen noch heute sein Wappen. Somit erklärt sich auch unser Kirchlein, am Straßenabzweig, davor rechts zur Pinienallee und links in die Einfahrt.
