We had a wonderful stay at De Vrede - as a plantswoman myself, the garden must've been my favourite part of the whole property. Expansive, wild and prescribed a slower temporal pace I found incredibly fruitful. The cottage itself was delightful too, where we spent most of the chilly evenings by the fireplace. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay here again!

From the moment we arrived we were captivated by the stunning views surrounding the accommodation. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind. The fireplace added to the ambiance. We spent hours snuggled up with blankets, enjoying the crackling fire. Our host Cindy went above and beyond ro ensure our stay was perfect. From thoughtful touches in the cabin to quick responses to our questions. I highly recommend The Buchu Box to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

We had a truly warming and memorable stay at this wonderful place. It’s an ideal spot for families, especially those with children. The area is peaceful and safe, with plenty of open space for kids to play and explore. Inside, the house is both cozy and well-equipped. The bedding was especially nice—fresh, clean, and super comfortable, which made for restful nights after busy days. One of our favorite features was the fireplace, which made the winter evenings feel extra special and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The kitchen deserves a special mention—spacious, modern, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the whole family. It made preparing meals together a real pleasure. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a fun-filled family retreat, it’s an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A beautiful drive just outside Cape Town, close enough for a night away. Such an incredible location, feels like you’re in the middle of nature with just the birds and crickets as company. The place was homey and clean and quaint with a stunning patio looking out to lush green grass and the dam. My 2 doggies loved the open space and safely explored the surrounding land. A canoe or floaties would make it the perfect off the grid break away. Candice was extremely accommodating and very responsive to messages. The little chocolates on the cushions, complimentary jam, rusks and tea and coffee was a special touch. Would highly recommenced this spot for a family trip or a solo get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Will definitely be back! Thank you ♥️

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

We had a wonderful stay at Sally’s gorgeous place and will definitely stay again ..Sally and Jeans’ collection of vinyl records was just awesome ..wonderful memories and so much fun playing records again in this digital age!!

Magriet was there to greet us although self check-in is also available. We enjoyed complimentary coffee, milk and rusks and we were welcomed with chocolates on the bed. The heaters were turned on and the bedroom was nice and cosy when we got there. Magriet recommended coffee shops restaurant and there are also brochures for Ceres attractions in the room. Shower had hot water and towels available for use plus extra bedding in case it got cold, wifi was available , parking secure behind an automated gate and separately from the main house. The accommodation was great , good value for money and Magriet is a super host, I will definitely recommend stay over there if in Ceres. We had a great stay at Connie s cottages. Check in was smooth and friendly Burgert has been very helpful with recommendations especially restaurants best to book well in advance. The place is very central we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The place was clean. Good linen on the King size bed. We left satisfied

We had a great stay in Montagu. Kotie was very helpful and pointed out a few activities and restaurants that we could do and go to. the cottage was clean and well equipped.

We had a great stay! The loft is comfortable enough for a short stay and so close to everything in Greyton. The loft does share a braai area with another air bnb house on the property, but luckily our neighbours were very kind and considerate. There are a few restaurants close by but by 10pm everthing was quiet and didn’t cause any disturbance to us. As you can see in the pictures, the house has an A-frame roof which is quite low in some parts of the loft - my husband and I are both quite tall so we had a good laugh about it now and then, but I think if you are planning a longer trip the house at the bottom might be more comfortable! Nevertheless, Lilanie was a great host and we loved the location and the town of Greyton.

We had a wonderful stay at Tienie’s place! It was perfect for our 1 year old and almost 3 year old - they loved roaming around on the grass and looking at all of the farm animals. The jungle gym was also a hit with our toddler. Peaceful, safe, quiet and beautiful. We would love to return as soon as possible. Tienie was very responsive and easy to reach.

Rhoda is a very friendly and responsive host. we needed an extra plug to charge our devices, She brought an extra one without hesitation, It is also nice that she stays close to the airbnb. What we love most is that the unit is very private and it a very nice quiet area. The rooms are equipped with very nice linen. Our boys loved the fleece blankets in their room. Overall we were very happy with everything, we will definitely return.
