This lodge is amazing. My family stayed here for a little over a week, in the apartment, and the hospitality was excellent. Wanda and Robert are sweethearts, and their crew are consummate professionals. I would recommend this place a thousand times.

It’s a days inn so it was exactly what I expected. Perfect place to stay if traveling or visiting the area. They were easy to communicate with. Also very flexible on checking. Would stay again.

Went for a relaxing weekend with no plans to do much of anything. And did just that! Beautiful peaceful area! Lots of great restaurants in the area. Wake cafe was delish! The home was perfect for the 2 of us.

The "Lily Pad" was absolutely amazing... everything was just like the ad specified. Very easy check-in and check-out... Susan was extremely nice and answered all questions promptly. Susan gave great recommendations on places to eat in the area. The place was very clean and organized and gave an at home feeling. I will definitely be setting up another accommodation at Susan's studio condo again in the future. This property has an amazing fitness center and indoor swimming pool with a huge indoor hot tub as well.. it also had a arcade room that took me back with those oldie but goodie retro games. I loved the place and was disheartened when it was time to checkout..I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice studio condo to just relax in and enjoy the amenities and beautiful Smith Mtn. Lake...

We had a great stay at Kristi’s. The apartment was great and had everything that was needed. Kristi was great and very responsive. Let us check-in a little early. We will stay at Kristi’s again!

The place was well kept and clean. Almost brand new! Just be aware that you will have to drive to most of the amenities. Also you will have to pay a $20 per person fee for the use of the amenities and that wasn’t mentioned prior to renting. We went to Bottles and Bites on a Saturday night and it was great!

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful space. Host was quick to respond to any questions I had during stay. Kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals even a blender. It's the little things like washing pods, coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and such, that make your trip that much smoother. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and great communication from Stefan. Will definitely come back.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

The beautiful view coupled with a quiet neighborhood were welcomed. However, what I appreciate the most is the thoughtfulness that invited you into every room, such as the complementary toiletries in case you forgot something, the full dishware in the kitchen, or the mints on the dresser. It was the perceft place for our weekend. I will definitely stay again!

This was our second stay and we loved it as much as we did the first time! Lots of nice details that make the place comfortable and reflect so well on the hosts who obviously enjoy treating their guests to a wonderful experience!

This was our 2nd time staying here and we loved the accommodations both times. It’s a beautifully decorated and comfortable ‘home away from home’ for us! I can’t say enough about how comfortable the beds are as well as the living and dining areas. Michael and Sharon are very responsive hosts and we really appreciated the special treats they left to welcome us. We hope their condo is available next time we’re in the area!

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!

This was a perfect place for some quality family time. The house is awesome! Very well-appointed, clean, and well-thought-out for families. The surroundings are beautiful and convenient with a gym, pools, pickle ball, and tennis accessible within a short walk. There are walking trails everywhere in the large resort and the kayaks provided by the house are a nice activity. The communication was great with the hosts which made the visit stress-free.

This was the second time we have stayed here. Perfect location and great amenities for cooking for a family. Very comfortable! Aaron is super responsive to communication and even helped me with an item I left behind - which is rare with Air BnB owners lately. Thank you so much!

This was a wonderful place to stay at during our trip to Lynchburg. It was extremely clean and looked just like the photos. The area was peaceful, well kept, and safe. When we arrived there was a cute welcome basket filled with snacks. Also, we appreciated the many streaming services ready to be used on the tv! There is a drive-thru coffee shop (Joe Beans) that is a very close drive—great drinks and baked goods! I would highly recommend this place and felt the host was eager to provide a great stay.

This is a super cute, spacious spot that is conveniently located to our favorite Floyd shops and restaurants.

Phyllis was an amazing host!! She communicated often and was very friendly. She added nice touches like snacks and water in the kitchen, fresh fluffy towels, and local guides on exploring the area. We were there to visit my son who lived .5 miles from Phyllis so that worked out great. We also walked from Lane stadium - it was a bit of a hike-about 40 minutes, but was totally doable after the game. The cozy apartment is in the lower level of her house and it was very easy to check in and come and go as we needed to. Thank you Phyllis!

Logan was a very responsive host. We enjoyed the home very much. The kids loved the arcade games, the back patio, and the big bubble bath on the main level which was very accessible for kids next to the bunk beds room they loved. We had a great family thanksgiving in the beautiful dinning room. Would highly recommended this home for anyone visiting Liberty University or Lynchburg Virginia for family trip. Great location and we loved watching the red cardinals through the big windows in the kitchen/ breakfast nook.

Josh was a great host who communicated quickly after the property was booked and leading up to our stay. He also checked in with us while we were there to make sure all was good. The house was beautiful with a great open concept family room/kitchen that provided a perfect space to hang out with family and friends. The house was conveniently well stocked with all basic needs and was right across the street from a community center with a gym and sizable indoor pool. Overall a great stay and would happily return for a future getaway!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Julie’s place and once again every expectation met. We were able to grill out on a beautiful Saturday and everything you needed was included. Thank you. 100% recommend this place.
