Townhouse holiday rentals in River Thames

We loved our stay at Pablo’s place. Lots of space for the family to relax and recharge for sightseeing! Pablo was a fantastic host.

Stayed here to celebrate the birthday of our now 20 yr old twins who are at uni in different parts of the country. A lovely home in a great location. Compared to some properties I've stayed in this is a home and it felt like it and is clearly loved. A beautiful garden (we were blessed with stunning weather) Off road parking is a bonus but be aware it's snug (c class estate for reference) Great owners with fab communication and suggestions for things to do. The station is only a 10mins walk away so was easy for our son to get to by train via London and it was an easy drive from Cornwall. Could happily recommend to anyone. Thank you for a wanderful stay

We used to live in Brighton and decided to rent a house this visit, having usually stayed with friends. This house did not disappoint! We have a 10 month old baby and also brought our labrador. The house was absolutely great! It is very spacious, in a great location for the beach and town, & extremely well-equipped. Towels and bedding are good quality & the beds are very comfortable. I particularly appreciated that, unlike the majority of holiday rentals, there was a great selection of spices and other things helpful for cooking. There was also a generous selection of bathroom essentials and lovely reed diffusers in every room. You can tell that a lot of care and thought has been put into providing everything you could wish for to make your holiday easy and enjoyable. Graham was excellent at keeping in touch when we had questions. He left a number of fresh groceries for our arrival, which was so appreciated. We would stay again without hesitation.

Jessica's house was a great place to stay whilst enjoying Stratford-upon-Avon. It was an easy walk in to the centre of town which had great restaurants and good pubs. There was plenty of hot water for 6 of us and powerful showers. Parking for 2 cars. Comfortable beds. Great outdoor patio area. Good wifi.

Centrally located and surprisingly peaceful given this. Parking permits very useful. Deceptively spacious inside with four double bedrooms. Open plan kitchen diner works very well, the kitchen itself being fully equipped. We stayed during the Christmas period and the host was very accommodating. I would very much recommend.

Rye is a wonderful area and Steve’s house was perfectly located to be able to walk to local restaurants and coffee shops plus an easy drive to nearby attractions. Steve was helpful and responsive, the house was full of character and a great place to stay.

We had a great 3 night stay at Xavier’s air bnb. Brilliant location right near the beach with bars and restaurants nearby. The Airbnb itself was a great space for 7 of us with all amenities we needed. Communication was great, any issues were sorted immediately and flexible with check in and check out. There is only one bathroom which was difficult at times but other than that it was a great space for a bigger group. Would definitely recommend!

A quiet, quaint place with lots of light and space. After a busy day in Oxford, this was the perfect place to put our feet up. There are a lot of pubs, cafes, and restaurants in Jericho, but with a neighborhood vibe removed from the tourists in town. 10 minute walk from the station along the canal and an easy 10 minute walk to town.

Nice cosy home. Basement kitchen and living area was a nice space to retreat to at the end of the day - perfect location for us, easy walk to the north lanes - fantastic Japanese/korean place to eat O’shio a few minutes walk away and couple of pubs at the end of the street. We visited in Feb so was cold and didn’t use the outdoor space - but would have made a nice spot to chill out in when warmer - Mathew was good, quick to respond with info etc - check-in etc all very nice easy. Would stay again next time we back in the uk/brighton!

We stayed for one night as a large group of friends plus two children and a dog. The house was perfect, all the rooms were very clean with lovely decor. The courtyard garden had a large table for group meals. A bonus was being able to order food/ drinks from the pub next door to our garden (there is a door that opens on to the pub courtyard at the back of the garden). Despite having a very central location in Henley next to a pub, it was fairly quiet overnight and we all slept well in comfy beds. Perfect location to explore centre of Henley, and the river is a few minutes walk away. Emily was a perfect host. She answered every question we had within 20mins and was very helpful with parking/ local area info. We had a non urgent question about the garden lights during the evening and she answered it immediately. We would definitely like to return for another occasion!

Barry and Tracey’s place was just the ticket for us. Exactly as described on the Airbnb page. A 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Twickenham and a further 20 minutes walk to the Allianz Stadium. We could not have wished for a better location. Barry and Tracey were very friendly and extremely quick to respond to all our questions and queries. The house has enough space with 3 double bedrooms one en-suite with another with its own toilet so there was no infighting over the main bathroom use. Highly recommend a stay here especially if you’re heading to the rugby and don’t want to be driving. We will certainly be looking for a return visit. Thank you Barry and Tracey

My brother & I came to UK from Australia to attend a Goodwood event - Tom’s cottage was perfect for our weekend, particularly as we were reliant on public transport.

We’ve just come back from a 2 night stay in Salisbury. The property was in walking distance of the centre, great restaurants and supermarkets. The property was well equipped for making meals

It was Vanessa and my first time in London. We came to London for her to run the 2025 London Marathon, as part of her World Major Marathon quest. Neil and his family were excellent, and helpful with communication and suggestions for the public transit etc. The flat was in a perfect location for the Marathon, but also for our siteseeing of the City. We saw so much, and it was easy to get back to the flat, via the Tube, Uber, Taxi etc. Mostly, by our own feet. We walked over 50 miles during our time in London........The flat is located perfectly to all the major attractions. The flat had everything we needed, and was super clean and comfortable. It was very quiet at night and the street outside had stores and many convenience items, including gelato across the street LOL. We would highly recommend Neil and his family as hosts. We would absolutely stay here again, and had zero complaints. Someone has another medal, and we had an amazing time in London, and Paris (for a day).

Stay was lovely home away from home. Can be a little noisy at night as it’s near some pubs and restaurants and the windows are only single glazed but these are things that cannot be changed due to location and type of building, I am used to the silence of the countryside at night so I am more aware of noise than others would be. Overall a great house and we would definitely stay again.

Ideal location for our trip to ABBA Voyage, no complaints or concerns, property was spotless, cosy and warm. Everything we needed was provided and the low lighting on the stairs should be in every home. We would stay again if Helen will have us and we will definitely recommend as a place to stay.

El alojamiento tiene ubicación perfecta! En Camden, pero en una zona tranquila. Muy cerca de transporte público. Metro a 4 minutos y parada de bus en la puerta! La casa es muy bonita y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. No echamos nada en falta! Ari estuvo en todo momento disponible para cualquier problema. La calefacción nos dio falló el primer día, pero solucionamos rápido con indicaciones de Ari (que también quiso enviar a un técnico rápido si no se arreglaba). El sofá-cama del sótano no lo recomiendo para adultos. Para niños pequeños es perfecto. En el sótano, debido a las cañerías si que tuvimos un poco de mal olor en algún momento y algunas hormigas... El acceso a los pisos superiores donde están el resto de dormitorios es complicado para personas con movilidad reducida. Es por escalera de caracol, y necesitaba algo de reparación. Lo comunicamos a Ari y creemos seguro que habrá puesto remedio para próximos huéspedes! Así que si volvemos será nuestra opción ideal

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The place was exceptionally clean, and it was clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining their property. The location is fantastic—perfectly situated near wonderful restaurants, local shops, and attractions. I loved being able to explore the area easily and still have a cozy retreat to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. The interior of the home is warm and inviting, with lovely decor that made the space feel both stylish and comfortable. All the amenities I needed were available, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway. I can't wait to return! Feel free to adjust any specific details to better reflect your experience!

Great location. We didn’t use the car once which is the sign of a good break. We managed to find a parking space less than 1 minute walk away which was ideal. House was lovely. Beds comfy and felt like home after a few days. Loved all the houseplants too. We didn’t use the garden or balcony as it was cold but would be great in warmer months. Pumpkin was well behaved too. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in Southend-on-Sea. The place was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a cute, welcoming vibe. It’s conveniently located close to local shops, cafes, and other amenities, which made everything super easy and enjoyable. The highlight, though, was the host—so friendly and accommodating! He came by a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. He greeted us warmly and gave us a great tour of the property, making us feel right at home from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone visiting the area!

I had a lovely stay in Melissa’s townhouse in Jericho. She was quite helpful and communicative, and the townhouse is very peaceful. There are no walls between the downstairs floor and upstairs, which was just fine for my solo travel. It’s a great location and charming spot!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this beautiful garden shed—it was truly perfect in every way. The cabin had absolutely everything you could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and clearly well taken care of. The garden was beautiful and peaceful, with birds singing all day and a serene river flowing right beside the property. It felt incredibly private and secluded—like our own little slice of nature. Inside, the cabin was warm, inviting, and super cosy. For us after 3 days of hard work at a local event, it was the perfect place to unwind. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend and would love to return!

Katherine, was extremely communicative and helpful, a welcome package in a wicker basket was left in the kitchen with Prosecco,Tiger bread, crisps, sausages,bacon, milk in fridge which was very nice. The property exceeded our expectations, we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday! And due to him being “X” Royal Navy it was a great location as we went to see the Victory As everyone says the stairs are intense but we had a 78yr old and a 59yr old both with arthritis and they managed to make it to the roof terrace to share in the 360 degree views of the Solent!! The bedding was SO comfortable that I asked where she bought it from (The White Company) we would 100% return as there was so much that we didn’t get to do due to the weather being so good and us not wanting to leave the roof terrace!

Casa is brilliant. It was clean and tidy and exactly like the pictures. Check in was simple and the host was very responsive. All the information we were given prior to checking in. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely stay again.
