Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Hillfoot Cottage is a cosy and comfortable 350 yr old cottage which began life as a pig sty in the quiet country village of Yearby, near Redcar. Offering peace and tranquility with local walks on your doorstep. Located a short drive to the seaside town of Redcar and Market town of Guisborough, within 1/2 hours drive to the North York Moors National Park and Whitby and within 1 hours drive to the Yorkshire Dales. An abundance of wild birds are to be found in the gardens of our cottage.

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.
