We wanted a base to visit The Beamish Museum and Newcastle, Jane’s house was in the middle of both. It’s a large mid terraced house which is quiet, warm and cosy. It has a very comfortable bed, good shower and well equipped kitchen, everything we needed for our stay.

The house is very spacious and well presented. As a terraced house, there is noise from a neighbour that could be heard. Having a small child, this was the only minor inconvenience that obviously is out of the host's control. Other than that, and no dining table (not that I saw) it was a perfectly comfortable stay and would definitely stay again

Was working in Spennymoor so this was incredibly convenient. Stayed for a few days, good communication from hosts. Garden has a great view and a secluded / peaceful spot.

I stayed here with partner & two kids recently. The property was easily located with good parking. Anytime I needed to contact the owner they responded swiftly. The property was bright and spacious and extremely warm. We had to turn off the radiators. It was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend. Thanks.

Excellent apartment, stayed with my family for almost a week. It fell like home from home type of environment. Super responsive with messages, kind and helpful! Flexible with checking out was a great bonus for me. I will definitely come back if in the area again.

We were a family group of 8 and booked this home for a 2 day stay in Sunderland. The house is about a 15 minute walk from Sunderland town centre or a short drive and was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed (except for a hairdryer, we couldn’t find but which was listed in the amenities section). There were a few bits of messy plaster/unfinished paint but this had no impact on us. The hosts were very responsive and kept in touch before and during the stay to check we were ok. And it’s really good value for money for the size of the house, and if you are a larger group like us.

Cosy little house a 10 minute drive to Durham City Centre. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Quiet rural surroundings. Comfortable beds with clean bedding. Nice hot shower too. Hosts were quick to respond if we needed anything. Very easy and pleasant stay.
