The Steading with Pool & Hot Tub

RachaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Such an idyllic little cottage. Almost hard to believe how nice it (and the surroundings) were. Went for a nice walk around the neighborhood and there were birds singing and flowers everywhere. Would stay again!

Cottage with optional extra of wood fired hot tub

RosRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality Tim and Judy!

Stunning location opposite distillery, 2 mins walk from beach and town centre. The burn running through the back runs under the road to the distillery. Former cooperman's house, still in same family. Very comfortable & peaceful. Loved it.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It is big and well furnished. Tesco is 4min away which is great. We had some great hikes in the area. We also drove to the coast. We appreciate that the dogs were allowed. The garden is really big and completely fenced. Great place for dog people!

Owl Cottage, dog-friendly 2-bed near Loch Ness

agnieszkaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely place with everything you might need, with extra personal touches. Very clean and tidy. Great collection of DVD movies. Well-equipped kitchen with a nice stove, and fireplace to make the stay extra special. Our dogs had a great time, too, as the place is dog-friendly. No internet and difficult to get mobile data, but this was clearly described before booking. So, if you are planning to catch up on your work, you might struggle, but you are here to relax after all.😊

Cottage retreat in wooded secluded private grounds

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

Conifer Cottage, a gem in the Highlands, Grantown

NicoleRating, 5 stars4 days ago
very clean and well presented wee house heating and night lights on timers / thermostats so we were never cold or felt unsafe going to loo in the night. My only constructive feedback was there was no kitchen door, we had planned to keep our fur babies shut there at night to keep them off furniture and prevent them wandering upstairs but thankfully we always bring with us enough covers and protectors for furniture as we would take every precaution to protect furniture that didn't belong to us even though our dogs are trained and well bahaved you can never predict what they may do away from home. Fiona was a fab host and there was some unexpected wee freebies which made my wee old dad very happy, thank you for having us.

Cottage, Quiet Rural Location near Loch Fyne

EstherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage is in a beautiful location, with walking from the door and useful nearby amenities in Strachur. The space is well thought out and the garden and seating lovely to enjoy a cup of tea in the sunshine. The bed was lovely and comfy and the shower was great too! Well equipped kitchen for self catering, we also tried The Creggans Inn and had a lovely meal there especially the local seafood. Highlights for us were walking the Cowal way from the door toward Curran Lochain which makes a beautiful spot for a picnic and visiting Inverary and castle.
