Our guesthouse is located in one of the garden pavilions of the villa.

Captain's House | Monte Grosso, Elba

The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Villa Carla (sleeps 7+3) consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with a bunk bed, 1 single bedroom, 2 bathrooms with a shower, a kitchen and a living room with a single sofa bed and a sofa with a peninsula (bed 150 x 180), a very large and exclusive garden, shaded by a centuries-old pine forest, equipped with a table, umbrella and chairs for eating outside. In the past, La Guardiola was placed to defend the entrance to Porto Azzurro from the sea. It had two key features: an extensive and dominant view and immediate access to the sea. The view of rare beauty, the sea that pervades every environment, the peace and scents of the Mediterranean scrub, make this place magical. Currently the property, owned by our family since 1994, is a 130 sqm independent villa, surrounded by a park of over 1,000 sqm.
