Villa holiday rentals in Rio de Janeiro/Zona Norte

Loved our stay here. Amazing view over part of Rio and out to Cristo Redentor. Short walk to nice restaurants and bars. Will stay again when I return

Deusa and family were great host. Meet me on location when I arrived a little early and were very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the stovetop was nice to cook small meals. The a/c was ice cold which i loved. The location is as described and in a quiet area with grocery and bakery within a couple blocks .

Pamella has been a great hostess. She was always attentive to every need. We had excellent communication to welcome us and it was flexible for our check-out time. The apartment has all the amenities and is located in an area with many bars and restaurants. Another plus point is that Leme and Copacabana beach are a 15-minute walk away.

Thank you to Branca for a wonderful stay. She communicated thoroughly at every step of the process. It was a pleasure to enjoy Santa Teresa from her place.

Casa de Vila, two blocks from the Largo do Machado subway, with numerous options of restaurants, bars and shops around. Copacabana beach is a few seasons away. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It even has a backyard shower, with table and chairs to enjoy the carioca sun. Izabel is a host like few, extremely friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home from the first minute. It was one of the best experiences I've had with Airbnb (which I've used since 2016). I highly recommend it!

It was very good , the alessandra is an amazing person, very proactive and worried about guests , very clean and comfortable house, the only bad side is that 2 out of 3 of the bathrooms does not leave you for the water , so you end up weting other rooms in the house .

Amazing place to stay, I would love to stay here again. Jorge and his family as well as the community of Horto are all very welcoming. Jorge was always very responsive (even helping me get into my apt at 2am when I just found out I lost my keys lol) while also respecting my privacy and space. The location is a perfect balance of peaceful sanctuary from the city while having easy access by bus or uber to jardim Botânico, Lagoa, Leblon and the rest of the city. There are also plenty of restaurants in walking distance. I love the waterfalls here and spent many beautiful mornings hiking to them, such a luxury! This might not be the Ipanema hotel experience some travelers are looking for but if you have an inclination for the more nature/neighborhood experience of Rio this is quite the hidden gem!

I really enjoyed the stay. I went with two more friends for an event. The house was not easy to find the first time because it is on the side street at the address, but Marcia arrived quickly to find us and give the instructions. I needed an iron iron that I didn't have in the house and she soon sent it. Comfortable bed, air-conditioning, the shower is very hot.

I highly recommend staying with Luppa and his very kind and responsive family. We had an unforeseen situation with our previous Airbnb, which didn't pay attention to our reservation and we had everything to have an unfortunate experience, but despite the setbacks, we had a great stay. The house is beautiful, has a safe location within a gated condominium, in one of the most beautiful regions of Rio and with several restaurants nearby. Highlight the beautiful natural waterfall in the backyard of the house. Thank you for having us!

An absolutely magical stay. Juliane is so friendly and helpful. Her home is like a paradise - tranquil, nestled in the hills overlooking Rio with an incredible view. There is a pool and yoga area. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend, and can’t wait to visit again!

Sandro was awesome, we loved our stay! From check in to check out we felt at home and Bianca helped with the entire process as well. The place has one of the best views of any Airbnb you can find and the privacy is truly unmatched. If you’re looking for an Airbnb around RJ, go with this one. We cooked picanha and laid out by the pool as we looked out across the city. We can’t wait to come back, thank you Sandro!
