WOW! I can’t say enough great things about John’s Airbnb and John himself! What an absolutely amazing host, and equally amazing home!!! John’s level of attention to detail and thoughtfulness is unlike any other Airbnb experience I’ve ever had!! I’ve already been sending this Airbnb link to all my friends who are going to Brazil !! I honestly can’t wait to be back. The location was PRIME!! John’s recommendations were FANTASTIC! The Airbnb was IMMACULATE!! Everything was absolutely incredible and I can’t thank John and his co hosts enough for such a great first time experience in Rio De Janeiro, if you need a place to stay in Rio, BOOK FAST. And stay at least a week!!! Wow, can’t wait to be back. Thank you so much John for a great Airbnb experience, you certainly have elevated the standard of expectations now which will be hard to beat! This apartment is centrally located and close to many restaurants and only a few blocks away from the beach. There is a lot of activity due to it being right next to the Metro station which adds to the lively feel of the apartment. The doorman and doorwoman of the building are super kind and helpful. We really enjoyed them. The apartment itself was very clean and Lea was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful Stay Lea.

We had a great 2 week stay here. The apartment was exactly what we needed and we felt right at home. The apartment is well located and Thiago was a responsive and friendly host.

We had a great stay (6 nights) in the accommodation, it was perfect for us 4 (2 adults and 2 children), the neighborhood is great for strolling and discovering the street art + access to the tram, the bars and restaurants are excellent too. Laurent was available from the welcome, Brigitte gave us all the information we needed for our arrival in advance and Angelica helped us well throughout the stay. The decor is beautiful, the view is very nice, the mattresses very comfortable, and what to say about the terrace with the pool! We loved everything, nothing to repeat. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Helena’s place. The flat is very comfy with everything you need. Incredible location, lots of excellent restaurants nearby and easily within walking distance to Ipanema and Cococabana beaches. The hosts were generous with their time and recommendations. I would definitely stay again!

Jose was a wonderful host for a wonderful apartment. It’s at a fantastic location and quite cozy. The amenities were as described and there’s some wonderful restaurants nearby. From this apartment it is very walkable to most of the southzone and the beach is only two blocks away.

Great stay at Paulo's apartment! It is conveniently located, very close to Copacabana! It is spacious, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and fully equipped to be self-contained. Paulo has been lovely, very flexible for our late arrival because of the Carnival.. thank you to him for waiting for us a long time. We 100% recommend and will come back!

honestly, a phenomenal stay. Alex was a great host, easy to check in, beautiful home, clean, quiet and spacious, despite us travelling during carnaval. He even left a welcome basket for us. Couldn't have asked for a better spot - also a 5 min walk to the beach

We had a wonderful experience! The house is very spacious, comfortable, well organized and with everything you need for stay (including long). Balcony high point that has a beautiful view and makes everything even more special! We'll be back for sure!

We had an amazing stay in Suzana's accommodation! From the beginning, she was extremely attentive and helpful, ensuring everything was perfect for our hosting. The space is comfortable, well located and very cozy. Also, her flexibility and hospitality made all the difference. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Celia was a wonderful host!! She was so accommodating and let us leave off our suitcases before/after check-in/out in response to flight schedules. She gave lots of recommendations and the place was so lovely- especially the balcony. She also had plenty of towels and beach supplies for us. The area was perfect. Would stay there again in a heartbeat thanks to Celia.

All my experience with Carlos Airbnb was very good. Good communication, flexible check-in, on my arrival I was greeted by Valdeci. Studio was clean, located close to metro, restaurants and beach. I recommend it.

The apartment is excellent. Exactly as in the pictures, impeccable cleaning, sensational location. You can rent without fear! I would recommend it.

Love the stay. The building was extra secure. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Communication was top tier and even went above and beyond with some request we made. I will definitely recommend and plan and staying again whenever we are in this beautiful city!!

I spent a few days with my husband and daughter. It's as described by Anya. The complex is very close and has all amenities. Pileta (huge!), gym, recreation spaces, games for children (beautiful!!!) It is also very safe since it has private security and different devices for entry. The area is very quiet and safe for walking and walking. In front there is a park , supermarket and food court. Apart from the lagoon and some walks to walk. The area is somewhat far away for those who want to go to the beach every day. But it's no more than 15 minutes in Uber. It is 5’ away from Barra Shopping by car. The apartment is impeccable. The kitchen is very complete, the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. All rooms have air conditioning. The terraced balcony is ideal for breakfast or sitting for a drink in the afternoon. Anya was always attentive and helpful giving clear explanations! I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

Very well located, the building has a good pool and a good sauna, host responds very quickly, and the local staff are very kind!

The apartment is good. It had already been in the next unit, and they are practically the same. It was exactly as described. It is easy to arrive, the condominium is very clean and organized. Checkin very fast. The apartment was in order and clean. Truth that needs some modernization, but I didn't feel it got in the way of anything. The bed is comfortable and the TV has a good offer of channels. A lot of things to do around, a very safe and unnecessary area to say that the view of the beach is beautiful. The only thing that bothers is the noise produced by the kiosk in front. For almost every weekend there is live music for practically all afternoon until the early evening. It is then quiet, but the kiosk produces a lot of noise. Detail: even though it is on the 11th floor, sound travels in an astonishing way.

beautiful house very clean. Full kitchen with all the tools and high quality pots, a little small dining area. Spectacular bathtub very comfortable, the coffee machine is missing in the😄 outdoor hallway. Convenient check in at automatic check-out.

This is easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in across the world. The views are like nothing you will have ever seen before, and the house is incredible. Mixing in the old designs of the building with some bathrooms even looking like they are authentic, retro, mid century … To other rooms having their own modern twist, the place was to die for! A perfect place to go on holiday with incredible hosts!

The apartment offers exactly what it promises: a beautiful view. The room for a room/ room is excellent. Sergio always responded quickly to any message we sent. Being on the edge of Lagoa de Freitas, with easy access to Tunnel Rebouças, Humaitá, Copacabana and Ipanema always makes it easy to be in RIo.
