The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/ freezer / dishwasher. The bathroom contains combined washing machine/dryer. Gas grill and O guy available. Apple TV and fiber.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are remotely located in stunning natural surroundings. The cabin in the pipe, like the other cabins, has an amazing view of Mjøsa and Kastadtar. The cabin is spacious, bright & airy with high ceilings, large window areas & a 50 m2 terrace. Vidsyn is located in Birkebeinerbakken. It is built on a slope, at the end of a dead end street & towards a free area. You can sled or buckle up the cross-country skis at the cabin, & for alpine skiing you drive to Sjusjøen- or Hafjell alpine center in only 10 & 30 min, respectively.

In winter there are nice ski slopes right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
