The chalet is 45 minutes (35 km) from Carcassonne Airport. An English-speaking taxi service is available from Lespinassière. The village of Conques-sur-Orbiel has a small supermarket, a bakery, a pizzaria, restaurant la Maison and cocktail bar/restaurant Appa Lanka, a tabac and a laundromat. This is all within walking distance.
