Holiday rentals with breakfast in Richmond

On a five day Civil War trip to visit sites associated with the last 9 months of the war. Just very special to stay in the Wallace House because of its association with Lincoln and Grant. You can almost feel the history. Very convenient to the Petersburg National Battlefield from City Point to Five Forks. Very pleasant drive to Appomattox. The town of Petersburg and the house itself, because of continuing renovation, need a little TLC, but all-in-all, a very memorable stay. We had a little difficulty entering the house as we missed the entry pad and tried to gain entrance by the lock box on the rear door - totally our fault!!

I am glad my wife and I booked Roberts place. it was perfect we been wanting to visit Richmond so we came for my 60th birthday.He is right of the freeway in a quiet neighborhood close to breweries and restaurants. We stopped at Sugar shack to get doughnuts highly recommend and went to Hardywood Brewery they have a beer garden with fire pits and dog friendly.We had alot fun playing the pinball games and would definitely come back. Gus and Susie are no longer "just" mine and my daughter's AirBnB hosts...they are lifelong friends. They are super fun, warm and welcoming - Susie and I bonded even before we ever actually met in person!!! Their home is incredibly comfortable and absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I both experienced the best sleep we've had in years!! I could NOT believe how deeply and how long I could sleep here. The beds were 💎💎💎💎 (4-Diamond level) comfortable and the peaceful surroundings somehow just came together to enable incredible sleep. I cannot recommend them and their place enough!!!

Yuman greeted me upon my arrival and carried my suitcase in to my room, where I located a luggage rack in the closet (a favorite amenity I wish every host would have). The bed was comfortable, and the shower, located across the hall, was very good. I’d be happy to say there again.

I enjoyed my two nights at Stacey's. The dogs are big and love attention, but they don't jump up, they don't keep after you and they aren't allowed in the upstairs space. They were sweet and a joy to have around. I was worried about them getting out when I opened the gate, but as long as I was interacting with them they stayed right by me. Stacey's communication was great. We coincided a couple of times as I was heading in or out, and she was very friendly. It's a nice neighborhood--quiet and safe. The space was clean and comfortable. A chair and small desk would be a great addition, but it was a great stay at a reasonable price.

This is a great value location, you feel welcomed and at home right away. I fully recommend for short or long trips; the fan area is fully walkable.

I can write a whole book about my outstanding stay here but in short. This is not an AirBNB, this is staying with family you never knew you had. I had an issue with my military lodging. It was last minute, but they were able to accommodate me for the entirety of my business stay. House is in a beautiful area with an abundance of restaurants and stores a short drive away. Richmond is just 30 minutes away if you need some city vibes. The Army base is only 15 minutes if you need access to that. Aside from that the Hosts were SUPER accommodating in every conceivable way. Definitely gave me great ideas for where to go in my two week stay. But staying indoors and chatting it up with the hosts and other guest was great as well. Just something about a warm and inviting home environment that puts everyone at ease after a long day of work. I came for business but left feeling like I had a mini vacation when I was off the clock lol.

My weekend with Gretchen was perfect. The room was as described and very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and private, right next door to the bedroom. The house provided ample space to relax and find your own space, either inside or out on the front porch etc. The neighborhood is quiet. Gretchen provided a great breakfast each morning which was very appreciated and she was great for providing any advice and information as necessary. Very friendly and welcoming stay and I will certainly consider returning to Gretchen's home in the future.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

I enjoyed my stay at Ziontown's Airbnb. The apartment had everything I needed for my short stay. The property manager was extremely helpful and kind. She responded immediately when I had questions. Thank you for having me!

I came to Richmond for the ANIMEINK tattoo convention and i'm really glad I found that airbnb ! I've been welcomed by the owner and she's been really sweet to me I recommand and will come back for sure !!

Bill’s place was so charming! We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony and watching all the birds in the morning. Very easy to walk to great restaurants and a short drive to everything we wanted to do. The home is located on a beautiful historic street. The apartment was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Great place!
