Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rice Lake

The nortehaus was definitely an inspiring and well designed space we enjoyed. Nestled in the middle of nature, you can definitely feel the calmness and quietness of it all. Parker was responsive and made sure our stay was seamless. Would book again!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

My husband and I spent our first year anniversary at Lanny & Jennifer’s beautiful property. Right from the start, they made us feel right at home by greeting us and giving us a walk through of the property. We never felt so at home at an air b n b! The place is so well kept - clean, smelled great & had all the essentials. We felt safe and at home throughout the stay. The pool was well kept and the laundry was an amazing addition. The neighbour hood is quiet and close to all the stores. The hosts were extremely personable and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend this property and we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Picton. It was nice to have a pass to visit Sandbanks, which was the highlight of our stay. Denise & Mike were very proactive in communicating instructions, amenities and local attractions. We would stay at their property again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. A friend and I decided to head north for a quick night away. Taurean’s “King’s Den” apartment was the perfect choice! A gorgeous accommodation, filled with special little extras and attention to detail! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gordana’s! They checked in with us daily to make sure everything is going well. Little chocolates were left on the bed, the bathroom and kitchen were spotless, everything was exactly as photographed. We’d definitely come back to their place when we visit Belleville again!

Mike & susan and the happiest golden retrievers Molly and Penny were the most perfect hosts. The Bark guesthouse was simply perfect, beautifully decorated, soo spacious, super clean and just wonderfully magical. From the beautiful wood finishes,to the comfy bed, to magical deck view (birds a chirping) to the steel roof that will lull you to sleep during a rainstorm. My gf and I enjoyed our time in as much as our time out. Mike and Susans property is a stone throw away from bike for rental, damn good gin and loads of amazing wine estates to enjoy. And if you want some beautiful wood accents in your home, Mike has honed his carpenters creative side with his own wood masterpieces in his shop. We are definitely coming back for another stay and a longer trip. We recommend this guesthouse to everyone who loves their privacy, a magical setting and comfy luxury.

We had a wonderful time at Caroline's AirBnB! The grounds were beautiful and the home was stunning. Caroline was very responsive and easy to communicate with (the staff gave us a tour of the property, set up a fire and gave us town recommendations). I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

We really loved our visit and wished we were able to stay longer. The space is just as you see it in the listing. It was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. Dave was wonderful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants and helping when we couldn't figure out the tv. Patricks place was a perfect mini get away thats close around the city! We absolutely loved how private and spacious his place is. The pool and sauna was needed on a hot day! Definitely will come back again!

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

We recently stayed at this property while attending a graduation in Oshawa with a large group of 9 adults and 6 children. The space was spacious and able to comfortably accommodate our group, which was a huge plus. What truly stood out was how responsive and accommodating the hosts were throughout our stay. Anytime we had a concern or request, they responded promptly and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. That level of attentiveness really made a difference for us. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for being so engaged and supportive!

Beautiful and serene neighborhood - we really enjoyed our daily walks there. Lots of different types of restaurants and grocery stores - only minutes of drive away. The house is better than advertised, wonderfully spacious, and well designed with 7 bedrooms, 7 beds, 7 baths, perfect for family reunions or groups of friends. Susan was a great host. Her instructions and responses were timely, concise, and easy to follow. We had a magnificent time in the house and will definitely stay in it if it is available when we come back in the future.
