Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rhine River

We felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime 😊 the accommodation was very clean and tidy, there were many excursion destinations nearby and Tamara was always quickly available and helpful 👍🏽

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

Stephanie’s place is the prettiest and loveliest Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date. The pictures accurately represent how beautiful her home is. It’s incredibly homey, with all the touches that make it feel like you’re coming back to a home after a full day out. The view of the horse farm is so nice to observe while having breakfast in the mornings. And the backyard was lovely to have a beer in the afternoon while listening to the sounds of nature. The location was nice as it was away from the center of everything so we had a reprieve from the business of it all. It was a great location to explore so many towns in the Rhine. Stephanie’s recommendations were so helpful too (loved the winery/wine bar that’s just 5 min from the house!) I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this place. The natural lighting, the space, I could go on and on!

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful and comfortable home. The neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation—from a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing any meal, to spacious rooms that made us feel right at home. In the evenings, we enjoyed unwinding with movies on the large TV. The location is fantastic, serving as a great base for exploring iconic cities like Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, and Koblenz. Excellent restaurants are just around the corner, and for quick grocery runs, Aldi is only about a five-minute drive away. This property truly stands out as one of the most stunning places we’ve ever stayed. Michael was exceptionally responsive and kind, always keeping communication clear and helpful. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Nadège is a host who cares about her guests, is attentive and gives good advice. listing is as described. very large bed (for me the bedding was too soft but not for my partner, who liked it). Provision of towels in number, sufficient kitchen necessities. nice little touches. be careful when entering the door is quite low for tall people remember to lower your head. relaxing and enjoyable stay, too bad that on Monday night not much is open in the area but it's a detail.

Guillaume is a great host. The place is amazing and had everything we needed. It's very private and there are no neighbours, so it's perfect for a retreat. Guillaume showed and explained everything to us during check-in, so we felt right at home. It's a large but still comfortable place with lots of fun activities in and around the house. He even accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for us.

We were there for the second time and felt right at home. It was a bit like coming home ☺️ the holiday home is super quiet and we were able to relax all around. The facility is very modern and you always have a great view of nature and the adjacent forest. The private sauna and the infrared cabin are also great! Here and there, there were a few spiders as residents in the house, which, however, cannot be avoided due to the proximity to nature. We were a little worried that we would have to pay extra for electricity (this was not the case on the first visit), because if you have a consumption above an unknown average value, you have to pay extra separately. But that was not the case with us. Otherwise, the contact with the hosts and especially the hostess Mira is always very friendly and you get a very quick answer to every question. We were even greeted with regional gifts, ☺️ we would definitely come back!

One of the best places I have stayed. Beautiful old building, very cosy, clean, extremely well equipped (there was absolutely nothing we missed), nice furniture, beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The calming river outside and the nice views completed the experience. Must be the nicest place in Monschau!

I was in this accommodation for the second time, it is very cozy, well equipped and quietly located and you can make a variety of excursions from there.

We had a very nice extended weekend. We liked it very much in the apartment and the area. The apartment is creatively but still functionally furnished. The place also has a lot of charm. We can very well imagine coming back again.

It was lovely place, pretty close to the town area with COOP departmental store next door. Very elegant designed rooms and nice balcony. Highly recommended for someone wanting to live in peace and witness swiss style of living.

Lucky is incredible host so helpful, kind and sweet…. The place is like a fairytale, magical, little, cozy spot that you do not want to ever leave…. Breathtaking views, no matter what the weather like it’s still beautiful… cleanest pool, warm and cracking fire place next to the bed… just perfect spot….!!

Philipp and his family enchanted us with the wonderful accommodation. We enjoyed the tranquility and the Rhine in the spacious apartment and on the huge terrace. Nothing was missing and we'd love to come back. :)

What a beautiful spot, with a beautiful garden, and a beautiful view. We loved our stay here. The peace and quiet, all the green around. Joop and Zeljko showed us around the apartment and gave us tips to visit in the surroundings. Because the temperature dropped considerably it was a bit chilly inside and Joop showed us right away how the heating worked. The apartment has everything you can wish for and the kitchen is very well equipped. And... the bathroom has a bath! I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet stay with a beautiful surrounding. There were also some nice walks right form the apartment and lovely towns 15 - 20 min drive distance. Thanks for having us and all the best Joop and Zeljko!

Thanks a lot Thomas! We had a very nice time. Too bad the jacuzzi was not allowed to be used – nevertheless, everything was very pleasant with the sauna and the pool. If you have any questions or uncertainties, you have always responded very quickly. Everything you needed was there. I would highly recommend the accommodation!

Beautiful house, easily accessible and a friendly host.

With our family of 2 parents and 4 adult children and their partners, we had a wonderful week. The house met all expectations; sparkling clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped. What was striking, after previous experiences, was that crockery and cutlery were very widely available and the kitchen equipment was more than complete. Nothing was wrong. The facilities were as promised. Delightful free garden. However, we soon received a notification that we had to take the noise into account with the neighbours. When we unexpectedly had no hot water, a technician arrived within an hour of reporting it and quickly fixed it. A bottle of sparkling wine for the suffering, not necessary, but nice.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location right by the Rigi Cog station made it easy to get up and down the mountain. The wood-fired hot tub made for a perfect spot to soak up the view each evening. Our hosts provided wonderful information prior-to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is beautiful, the view of the lake very relaxing. The rooms are beautifully bright, inviting and attractively furnished. The kitchen equipment is great, and the rest of the equipment is also great. The sauna experience is very nice with a direct view of the lake with swans. The communication with Julia and Tobi was great and we can very well imagine spending another stay with them.

Always good to stay there, its our second time, this time in the house next door that we stayed last year's. The house's are very similar and great for larger groups. We had an issue with the hot water that was solved by Dominic, always very responsive when we need. Always a good choice.

Peters Airbnb: Simply the best! What do I say? My stay at Peter's Airbnb was absolutely fabulous! Seriously, everything was just perfect. From the cozy furnishings to the sparkling clean kitchen – there was really nothing to complain about. You can immediately tell that Peter is making a real effort to make his guests feel comfortable. And Peter himself? A fantastic host through and through! Super nice, helpful and always available for a good tip. He simply made the stay even better. In short, if you're looking for a great Airbnb, Peter is the right person for you. I can recommend it without reservation and will be happy to come back at any time!
