Refuge das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the terrain enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!

The house was renovated for Seasons. Spacious, quiet. Safe, clean and airy. With fans, we were 20 minutes from Penedo and 40 minutes from Mauá by car. Very close to downtown Resende, and AMAN. Live this experience. Escape high hotel prices. You and your friends can still prepare Snacks and Meals in our equipped kitchen. There is a barbecue grill and shower. Please note, the price is for 1 guest, you will add others if there are any, so it is a good price for everyone.

We are approximately 1 km from the Aiuruoca River, within the boundary of the Itatiaia National Park (about 16 km from Pico das Agulhas Negras) and in the rural area of Itamonte. Our space is ideal for those who want to rest from their daily routine.

Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor. Space not suitable for children and the elderly. Pets are not permitted in the Park. Satellite Internet.

New, newly built house (2024), accommodates up to 4 people with comfort and convenience. In the heart of Penedo, we are in the upper part of the Centre, close to the Finnish Museum. With an amazing view of Penedinho Pico, Serra where the story of Penedo began. - We provide all bedding (sheet, bedspread, blanket, quilt and 1 pillow per guest); - We provide bath and face towels for the entire stay.
