Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rensselaer County

This house was perfect, right on the lake and equipped for everything we needed during the weekend! Zach was a great host and provided clear instructions for check in and answered all of our questions.

Wonderfully uneventful stay, overall very easy. Host was very friendly and communicative, really appreciated all the amenities she provided to make our stay easier. The house was nice and clean, with very clear instructions and easy check-in/check-out. My only complaint is that the layout of the house was less than ideal for a family of 4 with 2 small kids - the stairs are very steep and narrow and too wide for a standard baby gate. Otherwise, it was a 5-star stay.

The location was on a one way street that was a little hard to find but we felt like it was only hard to find because we didn’t know the area nothing because of booking, it was a great stay!! The location is good stores very close by places to eat or DoorDash close by it was great!! The mystery room was so fun to get into and the inside of it was hilarious!!! We won’t spoil the inside 🤣🤣

We were there for the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga. It was a great location and it was in a very quiet neighborhood with hardly any traffic going by. Inside it was very nice and accommodating - spacious kitchen with all new appliances, large dining room and living room. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and operational - just right for our party of 4. We communicated with Brandon several times and he usually responded within 15 minutes which was great. We appreciate that! All in all it was a great trip and Brandon's place was perfect for us. I would highly recommend it. Reasonable price, great location, great home, and a very pleasant renter. We didn't win any money at the track, but the stay was excellent.

Our stay was short, but had a good one. The home is comfortable and spacious. Great for families, just be mindful that master suite is in basement with steep, cramped stairs for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that the place is as pictured, beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. We didn't have a chance to use it but sunroom and back yard looked lovely.

The house was exactly as advertised. Clean and neat. Good supply of kitchen utensils, dishes etc. Appliances in good condition. Burden Lake is absolutely beautiful. An adult Bald Eagle flew right by our deck. And Kay's Pizza on the Second Dyke Rd is fabulous

A gem of a place to stay in downtown Troy. We walked everywhere. The spaces were clean, nicely decorated, and the furniture was comfy. We didn’t use the patio, but it looked like it would be a great space to hang out on a sunny day. The Host and co-host communicated well. We had a wonderful stay at Anthony’s place and would recommend it highly to others staying in Troy.

very beautiful and spacious apartment in a hip.area in Albany. we only stayed 1 night, but I could see someone staying many nights and working from the spacious front room.

Miriam’s place was great to stay at! It was perfect for my Wife and I to have a little getaway trip for the weekend! We would recommend this to anyone who wants to spend a weekend exploring this area! Miriam is also very communicative and intentional! We appreciate her hosting us for the weekend!

Liz is such a lovely host and her place is welcoming and cozy with all of the extra touches. I extended my stay for a month and had everything I needed for my things and cooking meals. I felt right at home and highly recommend!

Stayed here with my husband for a concert in Saratoga Springs. He loves pinball so as soon as I saw this I had to book it. Michael's place is super cool and unique! We liked playing all the pinball machines and the n64. Bed was comfy and the bathtub was nice to have a bath in (we don't have a bath at home so I like to take baths when we stay somewhere that does). It helped thay shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided because I didn't bring mine. We did not get a chance to play any board games because we only stayed one night, but if you like board games there is a huge variety to choose from. Overall if you like gaming definitely stay here! You will not be disappointed!

A Perfect Stay at Elisa's! Elisa's place was absolutely magical! Located in a charming yet convenient resort, this beautifully designed space instantly felt like home. Jiminy Peak is a great family mountain. Christina's place is perfectly located to do everything right out your back door. Christina was an excellent host. Thank you.

This was a wonderful place to stay and Rhonda made sure that we were well taken care of and informed about local hotspots. We loved every minute and will be staying again in the future.

Hamilton is a wonderful host and the area is always beautiful and fun.

Everything was as stated and shown. Very clean and very secure. Only issue we had was that the drain didn’t drain quickly in the shower and the hot water ran out quickly. Other than that the stay was wonderful.

We had a great stay here. It was very close to the ski lifts, and the ski locker was directly across the hall. It made for a very enjoyable and easy skiing experience. Jiminy Peak is a great place to ski at with a variety of trails for all skill levels, and even though it was a school vacation week/weekend, the lift lines were never long. Margaret was very responsive to any questions we had and made the process easy. We loved it!

We had a wonderful time staying at Paul’s place! We had easy access to the mountain for skiing. It was wonderful to have a ski locked to store our stuff outside of the room. In addition to the wonderful accommodation our kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool after a long day on the slopes. Highly recommend Paul and his accommodation!!!

We stayed at Renee’s place during a summer festival weekend hosted at the mountain and it was perfect for our needs! Comfy bed, good kitchen set up and a nice place for lounging in between festival events. Would definitely stay here again!
