Your holiday starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area, right next to the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours straight away. The apartment has one bedroom, guest rooms for two additional guests, a large bathroom with a bathtub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can barbecue and enjoy the sun on the large southeast terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

Beautiful bright apartment in rural idyll. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, like hiking or cycling, this is the place for you. It is also an ideal location for motorcyclists. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher to stock up for breakfast. The nearest town of Rennerod is about 10 minutes by car. There are also numerous discount stores and supermarkets available. In the spa town of Bad Marienberg, 6.4 km away, you can swim or take a sauna in bad weather.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood, a swivel grill and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Its highlights are: sauna, jacuzzi, gym, gas barbecue, diverse media & gaming offers (Smart TVs, soundbar, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, 150 TV channels, foosball table, table tennis, Darts, board games)

The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. With its high-quality facilities and a number of extras, such as an infrared cabin, a wood-burning stove, a sauna on the terrace with an outdoor shower, a large terrace with a view of the forest, and much more, our holiday home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.
