Our 3-star rated cottage is in the heart of the Vercors Park and 20 minutes from Villard de Lans. Located on the long-distance hiking trail, great walks or mountain biking are possible for all levels. Nature is everywhere, and the view of the cliffs is magical! You can enjoy the terraces for eating, bird watching or sunbathing. The garden leads down to a small stream that's ideal for cooling off. Fishing, climbing, skating, and downhill skiing are activities within easy reach!

Gite du Rocher 1 – Vercors

Facing the cliffs of Presles and the cave of Choranche, the cottage is a completely independent and open apartment for 2 (or even 4) adults and a child, in this typical old farmhouse, inhabited by the owners. You have a private terrace with exceptional views, and you have free access to the large garden. Within the Regional Park, in a Natura 2000 area, the cottage has direct access to the forest. It is a very good starting point for the breathtaking Hauts Plateaux du Vercors.

The accommodation is located in the hamlet of "La Balme de Rencurel", ideally located 15 minutes from the center of Villard-de-Lans and Pont-en-Royans by the RD531 (which runs along the exceptional Gorges de la Bourne). Completely renovated, it is located in an old building that faces the mountain, a small park bordered by the river "la Bourne" is at the foot of the accommodation.
