The stay was great! A lot of privacy, which we appreciated very much. We felt very comfortable and were always certain that we would have received immediate support if we had any questions. The hosts are very straightforward, that's very pleasant! Restaurants, shops and cafes are quickly accessible by car in the next village. The street next to the accommodation is a little noisy, which is why I had to wear earplugs at night. However, the atmosphere is not disturbed by this and we also find that it would be exaggerated and inappropriate to complain about this for the great value for money. Check in and check out extremely relaxed and easy - very pleasant. It is also noticeable that previous points of criticism have all been taken into account and optimised (insofar as feasible). We really enjoyed our stay with Hermann and Elke. Super nice people. We felt welcome. We had wonderful bike rides and saw a lot. Saarpolygon, Saarschleife viewpoint and Saarburg are also definitely worth a visit.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Frank was incredibly responsive to all our questions and concerns, and Isabelle—the neighbor who looks after the property—was exceptionally friendly. Although she doesn't speak English, her warmth and helpfulness made us feel welcome. She introduced us to the place and occasionally assisted with our needs. The view from the property is truly breathtaking and unmatched. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature—whether it's a lake, hiking trails, or simply the serenity of the outdoors—I can't recommend this place enough. We stayed during the winter and had no issues with heating. The two fireplaces added a special charm to our stay, making the experience even more memorable. We would love to return someday and experience this beautiful retreat again!
