The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Vintage "Landhaus Rosa" near Weimar

Our German-American family would be so pleased to invite you into our home. Our charming, 200-year-old guest house is just a few minutes away from the historic town of Weimar. Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home.

With this special accommodation, all the important points of interest are very close by. This makes planning your stay very straightforward. The apartment is centrally located in the Dichterviertel, surrounded by beautiful parks, the Flutgraben, many bridges and close to the beautiful Steigerwald. If you want to explore the Old Town with its many attractions, it's only about a 10-minute walk. But you can also take the tram. The stop is practically on the doorstep.

The Kirschhütte is located in the middle of the Kirschberge between Engerda and Schmieden - to switch off from everyday life, to immerse yourself in nature, to find your way back to the original - simply a different vacation. Whether it's a picnic on the mountain meadow on a warm summer day or a walk through the forest on a foggy morning followed by tea by the fireplace - here every day will be something special and a different awareness will spread within you.

Despite the idyllic location, you can reach the surrounding cities quickly and comfortably: Erfurt city center with the Krämerbrücke, the cathedral and much more is only about 15 minutes away, Weimar with the Goethe House and the Bauhaus Museum can be reached in about 20 minutes. After your excursions, a cozy, inviting apartment awaits you - ideal for relaxing and feeling good.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Shopping, doctors, train station and bus are a 5-minute walk. The apartment is spacious and equipped with the most important things. A great place to feel good for short and long-term trips. There are 2 bedrooms. A double bed which is 160 cm wide and one that can also be extended to 160 cm. A maximum of 4 people can be accommodated here.

The bright and cozy apartment is located in a large garden in the village of Taubach, idyllically located on the Ilm, 5 km from the city center in Weimar. A separate entrance leads to the living room/kitchen, a large living room/bedroom and the bathroom. A sliding door can be closed to the kitchen. The garden can be fully used, various seating areas invite you to relax. There are two beautiful cycling paths to Weimar.
