Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

The cottage was great! Perfect for a weekend out of the city, our group and I loved the entire experience. Janice was very helpful and even left a very sweet personal touch for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

What a sensational weekend get away. This cottage had it ALL! Brilliant decor, a kitchen that I would love to have in my own home! Such a well thought out layout and gathering areas for relaxing, eating and playing games. The decor….amazing. The games room, simply spectacular, and the downstairs tv area, just wonderful. The views were off the charts, beautiful, and we had the most incredible weekend. Erika was very accommodating and flexible with check in etc. The kitchen is well stocked and we had an exceptional weekend. Would rent again.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The lakefront property is beautiful, clean, and our favourite part was watching the gorgeous sunsets that could been seen from the terrace as well as from inside. Jesse was easy to reach and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were having a good stay.

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

Beautiful cottage and also nice outdoor decoration and nice walk to river with gorgeous lights! We celebrate birthday with family so plenty space for 10 people, 2 kids and 2 infants! Also just mention there’s noise detector which host didn’t mention on description, inside you can be pretty loud only outside have to respect live neighborhood but it wasn’t issue for us to celebrate birthday! Was flexible check-out from Bethany which helps us! Airbnb host is very responsive which is nice, there were a couple messages I had to follow-up on.

This was my second time at Rebecca's place. As always it was clean, well stocked, and so incredibly peaceful. You cannot beat the views and the walk out sandy beach. I always feel right at home there. The beds are so comfy, the couch is nap worthy, and I could sit outside in an Adirondack chair and read all day long. Thank you Rebecca for the lovely accommodations. Highly recommend!

I have very limited words to express how amazing our stay was. Peter is an exceptional host—very professional and thoughtful. He made sure everything we needed was available and perfectly arranged. This was one of the most memorable trips for our family. We had kids from three different age groups—1-year-old, under 5, and a teenager—and each one of them had something fun to do at the cottage. Thank you again, Peter, for such a wonderful experience!

Bongopix is an incredibly unique and wonderful place to stay. The cabin was peaceful, comfortable, and was so full of character. When the weather was good we went for incredible hikes, when the weather was bad we watched videos and played snes, it was absolutely perfect. The bar served delicious food, drink, and we got to hear some great live music. As hosts, Bongo and Andrea were friendly, helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome. Such a great find in the area and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

Beautiful and spacious cottage on the lake with a great dock! The hosts were very responsive and helpful prior to our stay and during our stay. It is a great place to get away for a weekend with family or friends.

We had a fantastic stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and the location was peaceful and private. The pool had a lot of dirt and rocks in it but the kids still enjoyed it. There was apparently a heater but it wasn’t on or wasn’t working because the pool was absolutely freezing but again the kids didn’t mind it. Couches were very comfy, although could have used more seating in the TV room. Hot tub was perfect. There was an issue with it before we arrived but the host had it fixed before we arrived and we just had to wait until the next day for it to be ready to use. The home was very clean but a few things were broken or run down. None of that impacted the quality of the stay though - we still had a great time. The location was private. The lake/dock is across the road but it’s a small and not busy road. My 5 year old had an absolute blast on the trampoline and in the playroom. Thanks for the great stay!

Thank you for your responsiveness and sorting out the issue. Your house and property is exactly as described in the pictures! A beautiful, quiet, restful spot !

This was a lovely spot. As recommended, we had our AWD vehicles to get into the unpaved roads. (Future guests, please do not think this is optional.) the house is very new and clean. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. I particularly enjoyed drinking my morning coffee looking out the big glass doors. My father happily sat outside where the bugs didn't seem to bother him. (In all fairness, I'm a wimp in that department, which is a shame because the porch was lovely.) I was grateful to have a spot where I could bring my dog. (F.y.i. dog owners : the floor is slippery. This isn't a criticism, just something to be aware of). I received quick responses to my questions leading up to our visit and upon arrival. I also appreciated the coffee and beer they left us. This cottage was one of the best we have gone to! This cottage is a jewel on Boshkung Lake. We enjoyed the views, sitting on the dock and having dinner in the screened in deck. We hope to return again soon, thank you Bruce and family for a fantastic weekend!

Our stay at the Eh Frame Haus was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and private and the property is spectacular. We loved the private dock, hot tub and big living room-was roomy for 4 of us, but definitely enough space for 6 or more. Janessa was a great host and check-in and everything was easy. Can’t recommend this place enough, we had a great time!

We stayed at Cherry’s for two nights with a group of 8 adults and 2 small dogs, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Cherry was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably, whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the BBQ area, gathering in the dining space, or unwinding in the cozy family room. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and group meals super easy. We also loved the private dock and the scenic trail leading to it—though it was too chilly to swim, it’s definitely a highlight for warmer months. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cherry’s place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

We had an unforgettable 2 night stay at the hideaway! Super cozy and homey cottage with beautiful views in a very serene and peaceful area. A true winter wonderland. The space was very rustic and charming. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals and the dining area very well laid out next to it. The living room was extremely cozy and relaxing to hang out in, especially with a lit fire. Getting there was easy, parking was easy, checking in and out, a breeze. Both Sarah and Matt were very responsive, kind and accessible hosts. We’d definitely book with the again and stay at their cottage!

I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The upper deck was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or lunch with a view. On rainy days, the screened-in porch offered a cozy retreat without missing the outdoors. There were three spacious decks, each with its own charm—one ideal for meals, another perfect for lounging, and one right on the water where you can take in the stunning lakeside views. A truly peaceful and well-thought-out getaway!

Justin’s Airbnb was a beautiful and wonderful experience! Very fast response times and made our check in a smooth and easy process. The cottage was also more than equipped from kitchen utensils all the way to kayak , canoes and life jackets even some feminine hygiene products! All in all the Airbnb is located in a beautiful spot and was such a great experience I would definitely come back and spend time here again!

We had the best time this past week at the cottage! Joanne was very fast at responding and helped with any and all questions. Going above a beyond. Cute little welcome letter upon arrival. Everything was in immaculate condition. The kitchen has all you could need and the appliances were spotless. The grounds were clean and peaceful. Overall, cozy weekend away with my family. Many laughs and all had a great time. We will be back!

This is our second time staying at David’s cottage. He is an A+ host who is always very communicative and accommodating. He is very proactive with the details & logistics of the property and quick to respond. This site is a beautiful spot with great views and the general area is worth exploring. If you’re considering booking this site, take this as your sign to do it! You won’t regret it!

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed.
