The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

The accommodation is within walking distance of our local pub 'The Red House' which serves delicious food and takeaway pizzas. A 10 minute drive from Newbury and all its amenities. As well as Highclere Castle, we are ideally located for Newbury Races, Hungerford, Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery and Watership Down.

Fantastic pub just 50m from the doorstep that serves food most days (please check) but there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to Paddington.

A private and extremely comfortable furnished converted barn in a quiet rural and beautiful setting. The barn has its own entrance with an open-plan sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen. Please let us know if you would like any breakfast, but we will leave milk tea and coffee. Comfortable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and single room with ensuite upstairs. We can add an extra futon for a child in the single room so the whole space can fit a family of four.

Quiet beautiful village

Independent private unit with private facility next to main house. I will be available if wanted. Very small, especially for two but manageable, hence the price, ( I try to keep the price as long as I can ), but very pretty, very comfortable bed for two, and good Wifi and good shower, a big fridge in the garage for your foods, beer or wine. You will not see me unless you want to!!!?. It is not a luxurious cottage. The Crown and Inn at Emmington there.
