It is the ideal starting point for over 300 km of hiking trails and alpine climbs in the Rauris Valley – one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Salzburg region. Here you can enjoy peace, privacy and proximity to nature – perfect for a relaxing break or an active holiday in the mountains.

You can switch off from everyday stress during your holidays, because our apartments are furnished with a lot of attention to detail. We support the "Bienenlieb" project for the future of our bees. Wide south-facing balcony with a table for breakfast or a glass in the evening. ATTENTION! All animals or food shown are not part of the house's offer, but can be discovered on the surrounding alpine pastures!

Our house is located in a quiet, secluded location. The town center and the Rauris high alpine cable cars are within minutes walking distance. You can reach the Kreuzbodenbahn in 10 minutes and the town center with shopping is a 15-minute walk. In order to enjoy your vacation after skiing, sledding or hiking, our sauna in the basement is perfect for ending a wonderful day and/or making yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace in the living-dining area.

For your sole use, we offer our around 200 years old, core renovated cabin. Alpine coziness meets modernity. Whether summer or winter, this stylish cabin offers the perfect accommodation for four in about 50 square meters. It is located on a sunny hillside. This quaint retreat is not far from the Mölltal Glacier Railway and many excursion destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more. Our farm house is situated directly in the untouched nature in the valley of Gastein, surrounded by wonderful mountains. Enjoy the magnific panorama view, the quietness as well as the fresh air. It is the ideal starting point for leisure activities, sightseeing tours as well as for recreation. The city centre of Bad Hofgastein is although only 2 km away. In winter you profit from the near location to the ski run, you can reach the ski run from our house.

The center is also within walking distance along the Gasteiner Ache in approx. 30 minutes. Ski storage is available.

Welcome to my cozy apartment on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy the mountain views. There are numerous ski resorts nearby, such as the Gastein Valley or the Kitzsteinhorn. In summer you will find numerous opportunities to hike, climb or mountain bike and then you can refresh yourself in the natural pool or relax in our panoramic sauna overlooking the Hochkönig.

The holiday apartment 1 is located in Taxenbach and boasts a beautiful view of the mountain. The 65 m² property on the first floor consists of a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 5 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls) as well as a TV. The holiday apartment offers a shared garden where you can enjoy relaxing mornings.

Haus Thomas - Studio Apartment

Studio apartment suitable for a couple looking to spend a few days in the mountains. The Studio is 18sqm large and is equipped with a large double bed, a small dining table, a basic kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. The Studio is located on the second floor. There is no balcony. Please note that we are located in Werfenweng, a mountain village in Salzburg state but not in the city of Salzburg!!
