Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the slope directly on the forest and is only accessible via steps. The towing nest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bedding is exceptionally possible. A set of linen (bed linen/towels) can be booked for a flat rate of EUR 25 (own purchase). The private parking is about 250m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min. Train station by ferry: 20 min.

Our house with 2 apartments is located on a plot of approx. 2000 sqm in a quiet location on the edge of the forest, directly on the famous painter's path. In about 600 m you can reach the Elbe trail, the ferry dock, the adventure pool and restaurants. We offer a good starting point for hikes, bike rides, visits to castles and palaces as well as sights. The S-Bahn station "Stadt Wehlen" is about 500 m away. From here you can be in the cultural city of Dresden in 30 minutes.

The Markthaus is a historic gem and is listed as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the mirror image of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic painter's path. Vaulted cellars and foundation walls date to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a relaxation, post office and tavern. In 1850 a massive cultivation in the Classicist style took place. Röhringer operated the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.
