We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

Modern and Cosy Valley's Home

Enjoy a stay at our lovely modern and quirky terrace house in the Welsh Valleys. The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

Blaenavon Log Cabin in the town of Big Pit

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, close the curtains, light the log fire and chill to some music or maybe watch a film of your choice on Netflix. The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. The cabin as heating on at all times, but if you want that wow factor, light up the log fire and just relax. (If you have never lit a log burner we can show you how to do it)

Willow Cottage, Hillside Llangattock

Willow Cottage is located within the Black Mountains, nestled high up on the hillside above the village of Llangattock. Set within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The cottage has fantastic walks from the door, great cycle rides, pony trekking and caving nearby too. Or you can just take a gentle stroll along the Brecon & Monmouth Canal which glides along at the bottom of the hill. Approximately 2 miles away is Crickhowell, with its award winning high street, fabulous pubs and restaurants.

Crickhowell Cottage

Beautiful Grade 2 listed self-catering cottage in the lovely village of Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons. Sitting on the edge of the River Usk. The cottage is light and airy with lovely period features.It has a bright dining area overlooking the garden and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has two bedrooms with crisp cotton bedlinen and luxury mattresses to ensure a good nights rest. One bedroom has a King size bed, the other has a single bed. Walk in shower in bathroom. Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! ( plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

Cosy Country Cottage Two Bedroom Annex (The Cwtch)

'The Cwtch' at Dan y Coed is set in the small village of Gilwern near to Crickhowell and Abergavenny. The 200 year old cottage is set on a quiet country lane in the heart of the Brecon Beacons . ‘The Cwtch’ is an annex on the right side of the property. A private part of the house, it does however share the main entrance only. Its self catering with fridge, microwave toaster and a cooker . Comprising of two double bedrooms, living space and private shower room
