Absolutely breathtaking sea views. The location was unbeatable—just steps from the sand, surf and Campbell Parade’s vibrant shops and cafes.. Couldn’t believe how lucky we were to experience this! Everything was perfect, and the host was excellent. Truly a dream stay. Thank you!

Rodney has to be one of the most generous hosts we have stayed with. Our stay of almost three weeks was perfect in almost every possible way. And when we did have a few requests he addressed them quickly. The apartment is spacious and we had a lot of supplies in the fridge and in the kitchen cabinet. Rodney provided excellent toiletries and good quality bed linen. The bus stop is close by and there are several very good cafes and restaurants in the area. Coles is nearby, too. There are a couple of issues but they are clearly explained in the listing. One, is the lack of a lift (didn't bother us too much). Two, the sound of low-flying aeroplanes (some days were worse than others). But for us it was a superb stay with a host who is keen to make your stay comfortable.

Best place to stay in Sydney for price to quality ratio! This place was extremely affordable, very spacious, perfect location (easily accessible by the tram to the Harbour) and walking distance to the main station to get to the airport. The place was very clean and overall were extremely happy with our stay!

Very convenient to bus and train lines; about a mile-long walk to the Opera House. Lovely views of the harbor. Several coffee/breakfast places and a Metro food market just across the street. Cockatoos were the only noisy neighbors!

Louise is an amazing host. She communicates well, provides detailed instructions and information, and responds quickly to any request. The views are amazing. Plenty of nearby conveniences. Hopefully, the ground floor restaurant re-opens because that would be super convenient.

The place was lovely, clean and in a great location! Walking distance to public transport, supermarkets and cafes. It’s also on a quiet street too and in a secure building so I felt very safe staying there on my own. Johannes was very accommodating and replied fast, he also checked in multiple times to make sure everything was okay which was appreciated! The guide he provides for the property was also so clear and helpful!

Megan’s home was beautiful. The flow from inside to outside is stunning. The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area overlooks the deck and garden through huge folding doors… lovely for meals together. Location was amazing Stroll to beach and shops Hot and cold outdoor shower was a bonus! The flat out the back was perfect for my Dad. Everything he could need. The hosts are warm and welcoming offering their home generously. Honestly, phots do not do it justice… Upon turning up at front gate- their home was absolutely beautiful. Would dearly love to stay again.

Jo and Paul were delightful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Having exclusive use of the pool and their beautiful garden was wonderful. Everything you need is provided and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend their property to others.

A cost friendly place for a great location.

Highly recommend staying here for a weekend away in Surry Hills. Great location, friendly host who offered an extended check out, and the house was beautifully decorated. Beds were extremely comfy, house was squeaky clean. We had the best weekend away. Thanks to Damian for his great communication.

Wow, an amazing place right on Five Dock Bay. Sweeping views, magic sunrises, a clean saltwater pool, a huge dining room, a teenage retreat…it doesn’t get much better.

Beautiful and vibey place! A lot of light coming through the windows with a beautiful view outside to the pool and greenery in the back. The hosts were extremely responsive and were super helpful with everything asked including a late check out. Will definitely come here again if staying around Avalon!
