The quiet location right by the conservation area does not exclude a very good transport connection. Public transport to the city center and the main train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot. By car, you can reach the A52 in 3 minutes. Essen trade fair: about 10 minutes; Düsseldorf trade fair: about 30 minutes Düsseldorf Airport: about 20 minutes; CentrO: about 25 minutes (each by car)

Vacation home in Gelsenkirchen on a farm

The vacation home was completed in 2018. It is located on a farm in the northernmost part of Gelsenkirchen. All attractions, such as Movie Park, Zoom Adventure World, Arena Auf Schalke, Alpine Center Bottrop, Atlantis Dorsten and many more can be reached quickly. Bakers, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies and doctors are within walking distance. Around our farm you will find grain, corn, potato fields and horse meadows where you can walk, or you can enjoy the tranquility on our terrace and relax.

The location is very central in Gelsenkirchen, so you can reach your destinations in no time, including the Veltins Arena with public transport in under 30 min or the city center on foot in 5 min. Welcome to the Lower Rhine. Our apartment has just been completely renovated and is located between the Hanseatic city of Wesel and the Roman city of Xanten. In the pilgrimage town of Ginderich, you will find us in the district of Werrich. Here it is nice, quiet and rural. The name reveals that you have a view of fields, meadows and the Rhine bridge Wesel. From us, there are a variety of bike paths to discover the Lower Rhine. The apartment is for 2-4 people. We rent a separate, approx. 60 m² loft apartment / house with private entrance in the annex of our over 100-year-old house to guests who want to stay "differently"! The apartment is self-sufficient + separate from the main house. A private terrace or a private garden area belong to the apartment. Around the house are forests and fields, here you can walk or cycle on the Roman Lippe Route. The Ruhr area (Duisburg, Essen) is close. Supermarket, pizzeria + pharmacy are on site.

The place is close to the city center and Lake Aasee. The university of applied sciences can be reached in 10 minutes by bike and in 5 minutes by car (B67 in the immediate vicinity). A bus stop is very close. The bakery and butcher, as well as the food market, are about 1000 meters away. Our house and the apartment are located in a cul-de-sac. Public parking is available. We have furnished the apartment practically and cozily. Linens and towels are included.

Our apartment is a small, attached cottage with terrace and garden. It is located in a quiet residential area in the center of Raesfeld-Erle, a 360-soul village on the edge of the Ruhr area. Here you combine Münsterland flair with everything that the big metropolises offer. In Erle stands the oldest oak in Germany. A chestnut avenue, the rustic schnapps distillery and the old windmill also invite you to cycle and walk on numerous hiking routes.

The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. There are also many birds, hedgehogs and rabbits in the garden. A BBQ is available on the terrace excl. gas bottle.

Guesthouse de Grenspeddelaar

Right across the border from Woold-Barlo is the Grenspeddelaar. In front of it is a shop and gas station, which is where it all started. Meanwhile, the gas station is unmanned and the former shop has been converted into a charming and comfortable guest house. The Grenspeddelaar is located in a special place: there is sometimes commotion, but there are also grazing cows across the road. Every guest, holidaymaker or passerby is welcome!
