This house was perfect for a weekend getaway! My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet weekend for Valentine’s Day, and this lake house was beautiful and cozy! Jenna was a responsive and helpful host. The house was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we could need. We’d love to come back soon!

Our two-day escape to the front-lake house was pure bliss! We spent evenings by the crackling firepit, gazing at the stars. The fishing deck was a dream, offering a relaxing spot to cast a line and soak in the tranquility. Having two kayaks meant we could both explore the lake at our leisure, surrounded by stunning views. This house is a perfect getaway for a short and rejuvenating break.

This was my third stay at Michael's Little Red Cabin and every time it gets harder to leave. Close to NYC so it's very easy to get to but feels like a million miles away. Peaceful and quiet, just what was needed. I finally got to meet Michael and he is even more friendly in person. All in all if I could give it 10 stars I would.

Michael’s home fully met my needs for temporary lodging during repair on my house. It was so superior to staying at a hotel with kitchenette. The rooms were spacious and the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing. The kitchen was beautiful and amply stocked. The living room recliner was immensely comfortable for watching the oversized flat screen tv. The bed was just the right firmness for a good night’s sleep. I appreciated the granite island counter that became my makeshift home office. The neighborhood was peaceful and I enjoyed walking between the mountain and the frozen cove. While seeking views of Lake Hopatcong’s main lake at night, I was delighted to watch an orange almost full moon rise. This lake is beautiful to behold every season, day and night.
