Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Pyrénées-Atlantiques

Our first time in St Jean. We chose very well with this Airbnb. Close to local shops for essentials and also close to the No 3 bus stop into St Jean ( 2 stops away) The accommodation is immaculate in all respects and there is a lovely swimming pool available. Michele and Hugo are delightful hosts and available without being intrusive. There is a nice walk up the hill to the Jardin Botanique -well worth a visit. Good walkers could make their way to the St Jean promenade this way. A short walk down the hill gets you to the local shops and the No3 bus - this will take you into St Jean or onto Hendaye where you can pick up the train to St Sebastian. The bus company do a very good deal - bus and train to St Sebastian and return for 6 euros. If you take the No 3 bus in the other direction you get to Bayonne ( ham and chocolate ) about an hour but only 1.30 euros ! The market in St Jean ( la Halle) is superb for food and drink.

The accommodation is as described...the great plus is the very well appointed exterior. Otherwise all the necessities are present which is very pleasant upon arrival. Philippe is very friendly and discreet .

Great weekend at Arnaud! The apartment is in a great location , very tidy and clean. With a great view! I would 100% recommend! Value for money, nothing to say. Arnaud is super responsive and friendly. I recommend the apartment without a second thought.

Maider's pretty apartment allows you to discover Ciboure with its beautiful historical heritage: city roofs, labourd church...the place is nice and romantic and Maider is concerned for your well-being. A plus: the farmers' market on the street where the accommodation is located. we recommend without moderation

What a view 🥰 We really enjoyed our stay in Biarritz and what a pleasure to be in this apartment overlooking the sea! It felt like you were on a cruise. The location is ideal for discovering Biarritz on foot and the amenities are complete.

We had a really nice family holiday at Annie's place. The house and town are perfect for hiking in the area and short day trips to e.g. San Sebastian and to the sea. We've enjoyed it a lot.

Jean Jaques’ accommodation is in a modern apartment block that is well planned & well designed, and well maintained by like-minded and discerning owners. The apartment is well appointed and clean and has a peaceful outlook. If on this route again we will seek to book Jean Jaques’ apartment again.

We had a lovely stay at Pierre and Danielle 's. discreet and at the same time available. Pierre came by every day to take us some wood and see if we lacked anything. We also came to see them at the barn to better meet them. The house is large and convenient with ground floor laundry access for snow stuff. The village is really pretty... We have a great view from the terrace. In short, it's very simple, very nice, just what we needed... Thank you Pierre, thank you Danielle! See you soon! Virginia.

We stayed one night with Jean-Pierre who is a very friendly and welcoming host. Good exchanges and excellent advice, Jean-Pierre willingly shares the love of his region and his recommendations. The house is very well equipped, for 4 people. The environment is exotic, quiet and soothing. We had a great night, restful and peaceful. The highlight of our stay was the passage of the sheep herd in front of the house in the morning. Thank you very much to Jean-Pierre for his welcome and availability, we had a real crush and we will definitely come back to his little house at the top of the mountain 😊

We had a lovely stay. The wood burning stove really gives us a charm and immerses us in the atmosphere. Just time to find the right temperature. Being a little maniacal I had to clean a few essential points when we arrived but it is not because of the host but the previous tenants who did it quickly before leaving. Once we were in place, we took advantage of a pleasant moment at the corner of the stove and slept well (just the cushions too soft, but mattresses at the top for us). Be careful at the start for the stove, we were not able to empty it before leaving since it is the only means of heating, we used it in the morning when we woke up but when we left it was too hot to empty, so anticipate when we are not used to having a stove. Ah is thank you for allowing us to bring my 2 dogs who also enjoyed the heat from the stove.

The cottage is well located , in a very quiet place and with a magnificent view. It is large and particularly well equipped, with books and games for children. Special mention to the donkey Pepito who made our little Leo happy. We will be back!

We were very warmly welcomed by bruno and Karin. Karin was able to give us some good excursion tips in English. There is everything in the house, even two older bicycles for small excursions. The pool was very nice and also warm. The whole house is very nice and friendly. We were 2 families and felt very comfortable there. A good starting point for a beach and surfing holiday. But it is also not that far to San Sebastian or bayonne.

Thanks to Clara for her availability and valuable explanations. The apartment is perfect, modern and spacious, functional and very well located. Access to the Great Beach is direct, which is really a plus! Another plus: surfboards and bodyboards available. Just a detail: the apartment overlooks a fairly noisy boulevard - plan to sleep window closed! Apart from that, our stay was perfect and we recommend this address 100%

Very nice apartment for a discovery of Cauterets! The city center is within walking distance in about ten minutes, there is everything you need in the apartment to have a good stay! We feel very nice there. The sheets and towels provided were a real plus for us! Célia gave us very clear instructions to find the accommodation and was very responsive to our questions. A property to remember!

We really enjoyed staying at Julien’s. His mother met us to let us in and then we saw her again around town. She is so friendly and lovely too. This place is a short walk from the sanctuary’s. We enjoy the location and there are a lot of places to eat. You walk by all the shops when you go to the sanctuary’s. There are 2 flights of stairs to get into the apartment. This was not a problem for us. The apartment is REALLY nice. Comfortable beds and lovely kitchen and shower too. I recommend this place.

Spacious, quiet, well appointed, very cozy, very clean, top quality 5* services (and we are used to 5* hotels), there is really all the necessary equipment in the kitchen, the apartment is very well located, convenient to get to the gondola. Everything went well. Easy to check in. Spacious room, neat and everything provided. Very good location. In case you need something, convenience store is 5min walk. Lourdes Sanctuary is 10 min walk, St. Bernadette’s house is 5 min walk and Chateau Fort is 10 min walk. Peaceful area, safe. Momo was accomodating.

Very nice accommodation, well furnished. In a quiet area with a beautiful view of the park. Loved it. I would recommend this place, Christine is attentive and very responsive. I'll be happy to come back.
