Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Puerto Plata Province

Villa Esperanza is the perfect escape right in the heart of Sosua. The pool and jacuzzi are a whole vibe—clean, relaxing, and surrounded by a beautiful, siren-like backyard that makes you forget the world. The BBQ area next to the pool is ideal for chill evenings and good company. Donny was a great host—super responsive and helpful. Be sure to ask him about his taxi guy, Carlos. That man knows every corner of the island and is your go-to for airport rides and getting around like a local. Also, don’t leave without trying Donny’s chef. Trust me—dude whips it down. Best meals we had the whole trip. Highly recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Very nice , I really liked the place, it is surrounded by nature, the pool was our favorite part! Very attentive to our needs.

Really enjoyed staying @ Dave’s air bnb. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to vacation in the area. Conveniently located (5-10 min drive to supermarket/restaurants. About 20 minute drive to Cabarete). Nice pool. TV w/ Netflix & YouTube in every room. Wi Fi was very good. Hot water stayed hot for entire duration of my showers. Jose was good. I recommend the chef, she makes amazing food.

Absolutely wonderful. The house is better than the pictures. Very spacious, spotless, and it has everything you need. The pool is wonderful and the outdoor area with full kitchen and grill is great too. The AC works great in all the rooms and there are multiple fans outdoor to make the stay extra comfortable. The location is great too, right next to the Millenium resort and a great cafe Vagamundo. The area is very safe, with 24/7 security. I wish we could have stayed longer! The host is also very responsive and accommodating, and he made our stay very pleasant.

Absolute Paradise in Cabarete – A Perfect Blend of Luxury & Relaxation! What an incredible beach house! We traveled with two other couples for a mix of relaxation and kite surfing, and this home exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the thoughtful design—every detail was intentional, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. We spent most of our time on the sprawling back patio soaking in the constant ocean breeze (we barely used the A/c). The open layout was perfect for group hangs, whether we were enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails under the stars. The location was ideal—close enough to Cabarete’s downtown (just an 8-minute drive) but peacefully away from the hustle. We loved walking to nearby spots and barely used our car. And of course, the kite surfing access was a huge plus! Our host was fantastic—responsive, helpful, and made everything effortless. We’re already dreaming of our next stay. I

Such a wonderful person to chat with, everything was as described and more, she even provided us with the BBQ Girls when I requested it.... Never got to meet here in person (didn't need to) but she was very helpful and on her toes with any concerned I had (which were minor to say the least).... The villa is wonderful and great for groups, the staff are super friendly and super attentive..... The maid was nice (you might want to tip a heavy one to get breakfast cooked by her) but other than that she made the place spotless everyday.... The manager of the property came very day to check on us and was very happy and welcoming ( my friends and I called him happy feet lol).... The restaurant at the property near by was on point ,,,,try their steak, one of my top 5 steaks I had in my life (I am a steak lover).... Security were present with guns to assure a safe stay....everything was close by (driving) from sosua to Cabarete.... Overall would definitely stay there,,,,,, Rating out of 10 would be 9/10

A beautiful place with great views, very good attentions of the staff and the communication of the host always good willing to collaborate in the best way with their clients, I recommend this space 100% A++

We had a great stay. I cannot think of a better place to stay if you are like us and love privacy, a roomy house and great yard with a large pool. Cabarete beaches are reputed for kitesurfing (which I am doing), but my wife and daughter preferred to enjoy the privacy, the beautiful yard and sunbathing away from the windy beaches in the afternoon. The place is really big and the yard is surrounded by vegetation, so you feel remote and alone. It is a 15 minutes' walk to the first beach, and restaurants might be 20-30 minutes' walk. So a car or renting scooters is a plus. The place is clean and comfortable. Internet (Starlink) is working well (150mbps download speed) so no issues doing Teams / Zoom meetings. TV is updated, so no need to bring cables or anything just airplay your tablet, or access remotely from your PC. Fela, the house manager, is amazing. She will do everything she can to help. House is charming, although could be updated, it is awesome. We'll be back.
