I recommend Yerina's house, she and her whole family are very friendly and always ready to help us. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything, and Yerina helps us with excursions. The dinner they propose is very rich and the amounts are very generous! Carmen and her family are very kind and helpful hosts. Her place is very private with an independent entrance. Super clean and comfy room, shower has great water pressure. Beautiful area. I was very happy to be there. Highly recommend it!!!

It's not easy for us to give 5 stars, it would have to be at least 10 stars. The family is so committed and extremely kind and helpful, it can't be put into words how great our stay there was. Everything is lightning clean, the food with the home grown fruits and vegetables is fantastic and José Carlos and his family are responsive at all times and more than just helpful. The excursions, to cayo jutia, the horseback ride through the tobacco plantations and especially the trip to the neighboring farm was the highlight for us!!!!!(Ride the ox cart to the waterfalls... homemade coffee , mojito in the middle of the forest, and much more!!! )You didn't feel like a tourist, but like a part of the family. This place is more than highly recommended. We couldn't find a comparable place to stay all over Cuba. Just a dream of super well-kept pool, everything tip-top. We miss you!!!!
