This apartment is basically one block off of the main street of San Cristobal and is close to everything. The internet worked great (we were able to get our Netflix set up on the TV). They provide a huge container of drinking water so you don't have to buy one & the air conditioner works great. For directions, there was some confusion with the taxi driver over where the location was- I would use the name of the restaurant next door that the owner will provide to you in the instructions as a better landmark. The apartment is a very noticeable structure. Also, you will have to fill out a form before you arrive in the Galapagos on where you are staying- you should clarify with the host before you fill out that form on what information you should put in. They are very responsive via What*app but make sure you give yourself time before filling out the form.

Well located a stone’s throw from Playa Mann, Cabanas Don Jorge is a delightful place to stay on San Cristobal. Our host provided a complimentary transfer from the dock on our arrival and flexible check in and check out times. The apartment was serviced once during our four night stay which was ample. Our host was very responsive from the first point of contact - providing clear instructions for check in, recommendations of things to do locally and contacts for taxis and tours when asked. If staying here we highly recommend the tour to Espanola Island and walking to nearby Darwin’s Bay for snorkelling. The accommodation is approximately 12 minutes walk from the main dock and the centre of town which is ideal - it’s quiet but close to amenities. Highly recommend this place, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful location on San Cristobal! We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the front porch, watching the action in the harbor, and listening to the sea lions. There are a couple of rocks across the street where the Blue Footed Boobies like to perch, so we loved going to observe them up close. The sea lion colony is right there, it was so much fun watching the families - mothers and nursing babies, sea lions playing with each other. We could actually see the house across the harbor from the pier when we got off the ferry, and we walked right to it. On our last day we walked a half mile to the airport. We also walked to Playa Loberia which was about 2 miles each way. The snorkeling there was amazing - we swam with sea turtles and all kinds of fish. The house was great - the 3 bedrooms had great air conditioners for sleeping at night. Our stay was wonderful and we'd love to go back!

We loved our stay on San Cristobal. This place was very clean with great AC and laundry which was easy to use. We were able to fit a fairly large group here comfortably. The location is very close to the airport (~5 minutes by car) and fairly close to the town center (~20 minute walk). The host was always kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. She went out of her way to bring us extra toilet paper when we ran out. The personal touch made a big difference! Overall I would highly recommend this place.

We loved staying at Jairo’s place in San Cristobal. The location was perfect, we were steps from where we picked up boats for excursions during the day. The host was very communicative and helpful, beds were comfy and it felt very safe. It was just what we needed to explore the town for a bit after our galapagos cruise. We loved San Cristobal! Extra bonus, I met a pregnant street kitty and when I told Jairo about her, he immediately said he would go look for her and get her vet care and help finding a home, and knew of the exact organization who would help. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Isabella’s property. The location was perfect for our short stay, right in front of the pier. There’s a great selection of restaurants around the airbnb, as well as beaches in walking distance. We both agreed if we ever came back to San Cristobal, we would 100% return here.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay! Isabella’s place is a gem. Very comfortable, private, safe and relaxing. We enjoyed having coffee out on the little balcony over looking the pier and Al Mar and sitting at the outdoor table with a cold beer after a day of exploring. Her place is within walking distance to almost everything in the town of San Cristobal. Listen to the waves, the local animals and see what life is like on the island. Sunsets are truly spectacular! Isabella and everyone that we encountered and communicated with were so helpful, hospitable and generous. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay. Thank you Isabella, Thank you!

Very nice stay! The Airbnb listing stated 2 beds but when we arrived there was only one but Maria gave us another private room free of charge. Lots of good recommendations on things to do on the island. Walkable location to everything in the town. Good kitchen facilities and the outside area was nice to chill in over breakfast and coffee before enjoying the day.

Very nice, spacious clean room with a good location directly on the Malecon a very short walk away from all the restaurants and tour companies. When you step outside you can already see the see lions, which definitely is a plus. I got picked up from the airport. I‘d definitely stay here again if I ever find myself on San Cristobal again. Muchas gracias!
