We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Lovely little cottage. Was very quiet and private. Had everything you needed. Great base for exploring Sherborne and surrounding areas.

We had the best of week's at April's cottage. it's very sweet and placed in a super location. All the facilities are as listed, the view is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The cottage is well situated, and I highly recommend the fish shop which can be found at the top of the road two minutes walk away. We just had the most relaxing of stays and will definitely make a return visit.

Fantastic place to stay if you are visiting the area. Just far enough out of the town to be peaceful but close enough to walk to the beaches and restaurants if you want. Every supermarket brand you can think of is on the doorstep!!

We had a wonderful weekend in Hanford Minima. The house is beautifully furnished and absolutely immaculate. The beds were super-comfortable, and it was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay in the stunning Dorset countryside. We had really responsive, helpful communication from our host, who was extra kind and thoughtful in relation to my frail father who was staying with us - thank you so much, Jingo!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Dianne and Stephen were responsive and so welcoming to their beautiful home. The space was comfortable and clean and lovely and light. Our little private decking area was perfect for the children and the dog and had beautiful, peaceful views over the garden. Having access to the pool was amazing, even on a cloudy day we spent a lot of time in there with the children as it was lovely and warm. The garden is beautiful and it was nice to be able to wonder around.

We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

Wow wow wow! Headland hideaway is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous, Mike was amazing!!! Messaged every day to check all is okay, send photos of the signpost where to turn and exactly where to park etc. his food recommendation were helpful and stop on! Tried lots and all were amazing! The pool was the biggest hit and we were so lucky when we stayed we had amazing weather! Everything was spotless and modern, loved the remote control curtains! A fabulous half term dreamy weekend! Thank you so much Mike! It was an absolute pleasure!

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

A great place to stay for families and groups. Super quick responses, loads of info provided in advance and useful links to places in the area. Lovely house and so much to offer for the young and old - our group ranged from 5 years old to retirees and we all had a fab time. Everything was lovely and clean and well maintained. Would happily go back. Thank you!

A really nice, dog friendly airbnb. A beautiful walk through the woods to the beach. Pool was an added bonus - our children used it, I passed as it wasn’t warm enough yet. The hosts were on site, available for questions, but extremely respectful of our privacy. Recommended

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

thankyou to our host Sibylle for being so attentive friendly always on hand to advise and assist ,gave us loads of information on walks surroundings , wood burner Hot tub ready when we requested ,stunning setting and access to forest at the bottom of the driveway ,so peaceful and you just didn't want to leave ,everything you thought you'd forgot to bring was available all in a wonderful relaxing stay thankyou

Perfect stay in an idyllic location. Despite being on the Athelhampton House grounds, the cottage is private with ample parking and a lovely outdoor space. The inside of the cottage is lovely too. We had a fantastic stay - would definitely recommend.

We loved it here. The location is stunning, with a view of the sea from the sofa and a short walk to a (stony) beach and the Coast Path. There is a pub serving great food right next door. The Annexe is beautifully appointed with high quality appliances and even telescope and binoculars so you can watch the boats, birds, etc. Patti had left us a generous selection of snacks and biscuits. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We only wished it could have been longer.

We had a lovely night at The Garden House. Ruth was a great host and left us to enjoy our privacy. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. Extremely dog friendly with lovely gardens.

We're a family of 4 who enjoyed a two-night stay to reconnect amid our busy lives. The Coach House was ideal for our needs and well thought out. Pub next door where we had an excellent meal with great service (and no pub noise) was a winner.  Had a few minor issues including a temperamental fridge & oven. Roy was super helpful & responsive. Beds super comfy, though shower quite weak. But overall a great spot for long walks, sharing good food and an ideal place to switch off & spend quality time together - we took our fave board games.  A welcome respite from the everyday. Thank you Roy!

The most beautiful surroundings for a long weekend escape. The outdoor bath and shower were a firm favourite. The place smelt incredible from the moment we walked in, like walking into a spa and just instantly relaxing. Really private and so beautifully done! We absolutely loved our time here - thank you! Lyme Regis was really great - never been before but what a lovely seaside town.. great recommendations, golden cap walk followed by pizza at the anchor inn, and the beautiful walk through the woodlands into Lyme Regis, is a must! Couldn’t recommend this place more 😊

Absolutely charming accommodation. Really spacious and well laid out. Felt like home away from home, could have stayed here for longer and will definitely look into coming back here. Lovely walk to the nearest pub for lunch, the mill is right on the river with Stunning views of the surrounding area. Nice garden area with views of the cows in the field. The hot water was extremely hot so be careful, but it was nice to always have plenty of hot water for washing and showering. Overall a lovely private place to stay.

Greenwood grange was better than we thought...the cottage itself was spacious, clean with all the required amenities. If you are staying with kids (we were), there is plenty of options to keep them engaged - the site itself have a couple of tennis courts, games room with pool table, ping pong table, board games, etc. They also have veggie garden, chickens (so, organic eggs)! On the doorstep of the site, we have a wonderful woods and Thomas Hardy's cottage. Jackie has been fantastic with the comms and made us feel at home from get go. Tx. Best, Ravi
