Family-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Sondrio

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Beautiful stay with an amazing view!

A really nice house in a quiet location with great views over the lake! Everything we needed was there. Thanks to the fireplace, it was very comfortable despite the changeable weather. Mauro is a great host, easily accessible and had many tips for the house and surroundings. Upon arrival, he greeted us right at the parking lot and helped us carry the luggage to the house. You have to walk a few minutes between the house, parking, supermarket, lake shore, etc., which was a lot of fun for us, as the scenery and views are so beautiful. Too bad we couldn't stay longer, I would come back anytime.

I chose Lara's place for a return with friends, I fell in love with the property already from the photos, but live it's even better! It was a dream weekend, the house offers everything, we had such a good time that we didn't feel the need to move from home. In addition, we were lucky, in the middle of January, to have all sunny days, which made the view of the lake and the mountains spectacular! I would go back today, I only have great memories.

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

This was an amazing place to stay to explore Varenna and other towns sharing the shoreline of Lake Como. The views from both balcony’s and the bedroom are absolutely spectacular. The property is quiet and peaceful and directly off the hiking trail to Castello de Vezio that also goes down into Varenna. . If you have any kind of physical limitations that prevent you from walking on an incline understand that this is more of a hiking trail than a walkway. Aside from that it leads you right into the heart of Varenna and has great access to the ferry. The host, Rita is more than helpful and unbelievably kind. She picked us up from the train station helped us settle in and even drove us into town after dropping off our luggage so she could show us her favorite restaurant. She truly went above and beyond for us and she deserves the highest rating possible!

We absolutely loved staying here. The location in Bellano was so charming and peaceful and the apartment is close to the ferry and bus stop. Downstairs we found an awesome gelato spot and some cute restaurants! Marco went above and beyond to communicate and check up on our stay. Everything was clean and modern. The unit was also very spacious. Comfy beds. Nothing bad to say!

Our second trip here (last summer was the first) and still amazing. A great place away from the tourist towns of Varenna and Bellagio...amazing view and mostly locals in the town of Perledo. The view alone is worth this AIRBNB a five star. Good size apartment with everything you need from the fluffy towels to the well equipped kitchen. Buses were really easy to navigate. Giancarlo and Andrea were great co-hosts reaching out often to make sure we had the best possible stay.

Amazing views! Layout was perfect, well equipt kitchen for cooking, and beautiful pool and deck area. Host was nice enough to give us an hour in the hot tub for free. Pretty isolated town, had to train to other areas for activities, but the remote Dorio town was perfect for a getaway.

We liked the apartment and the location is great! Super convenient for a stay in the middle of Chiavenna.

Apartment with enchanting and very well-kept views and convenient location for hiking , hot springs and very close to Bormio. Aldo and Nadia are kind and always available hosts. Definitely worth coming back .

We had a wonderful stay at Antonio's apartment which is really like a little cocon. The apartment was sparkling clean, really equipped with everything you need to reach Antonio always and we woke up every morning with a view of the lake! Because of the proximity to the lake, we hardly used the pool, but it is also wonderful. Above all, Antonio's garden is a real paradise full of fruit, flowers and a small turtle. The location offers all the possibilities: you can hike, swim or also visit the cities of Varenna, Bellagio or Menaggio by ferry or car. Thank you for the lovely holiday Antonio!

We had a great time, the accommodation is practically on the ski slopes and is a great base for mountain sports enthusiasts for its proximity to the facilities but also for a relaxing stay as it is in the heart of downtown. Parking spot outside the listing. The host was very kind and helpful, he provided us with all the information we needed and made himself available for anything (but we didn't need anything because everything was perfect).

Fantastic location to enjoy the como beaches and activities and restaurants and town of Colico Villa itself is fantastic to relax with great outdoor seating and pool area (which was lovely to cool off from the sun but still a nice ~20/22 degrees)

Sweet spot in small town not too far from the lake. Great walking trails right by the home to different villages and view points. Host is very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Pool was fabulous and very refreshing. Great place all around.

Views were amazing, the Airbnb has everything you need. Hosts are responsive and helpful. Check in and Checkout went smoothly. I‘m happy to come again :)

We’ve had a fantastic stay at this apartment!. The view was phenomenal!!!. The apartment itself was perfect for our group, plenty of space and 3 balconies where we could admire the views of the lake. The apartment is in such a perfect position and location. It is definitely THE BEST view of the lake. We did have a car and found this useful but it’s only a 20-25 min walk (uphill) and in my opinion it wasn’t too bad. Varenna was lovely, the scenery absolutely stunning and it’s been an amazing trip!. The hosts were great and had great communication. Thanks again for a great stay! We would recommend!
