Set high on a hill it is away from it all but it is only 3km from Tocco da Casauria village, 5km from the highway, 45km from the main local town Pescara. Relax under the shade of a hundred olive trees or head off to discover the surroundings. The inside is an open space in a simple and basic style, reflecting the rural spirit of the place.

It is located in "Le Scalate", a green residential area in Villa Celiera, within Gran Sasso-Monti della Laga National Park, between Mt. Morrone and Merletti di Villa Celiera rocky spurs, with views of the surrounding mountains, and is also a few kilometres from the Piana del Voltigno. Pescara and the beach are 40km away.

Casa Fenice is located next to an olive grove and overlooking the cultivated fields of neighboring farms. Across the valley of the Saline River you will see the vineyard of San Lorenzo wines, the medieval villages of Elice and Castilenti, and small suburbs with support businesses for the farmers in the area. The nearest neighbor is 200m away, so with the exception of the occasional friendly farmer on his tractor, you are able to enjoy the blissful peacefulness of country living.

Glamping Abruzzo - The Yurt

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.

Romantic weekend in a rural tranquility. In the heart of the mysterious region of Abruzzo on a picturesque hill an ancient rural house was given a second life. The old barn became an apartment of 30 m2, which has its own entrance and a small garden, two roofed terraces, walk-in closet, a sofa and the bathroom with walk-in shower. You can see sunset behind the great Gran Sasso while you sit on the terrace with the glass of wine.
