Beautiful space with stunning view! Perfect to disconnect and relax!

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

!!! Hidden jewel of Tuscany !!! My girlfriend and I had one of the best holidays ever in this wonderful place away from the tourist strongholds. We were received in person by the host family upon our arrival. Just to let you know: Molly herself is just a kind of agency from the UK, with whom you have contact before arrival. We were then in contact with the host family on site and were very warmly welcomed by them. For the perfect start to our holiday, we were handed a homemade antipasti plate, fresh fruit, a cake and a bottle of wine. When we got a detailed tour of the property, we couldn't get out of it. Everything was just incredibly beautiful and prepared for us with so much love for detail. Starting with the pool area, which is equipped with the most seating, lying and chill facilities. Of course, the fire bowl must not be forgotten, which is just perfect for a cozy and romantic evening. In addition, there is the breathtaking view over Castiglione di Garfagnana and the associated nature. For us personally, the pizza oven and the associated barbecue station were an absolute highlight. The house has everything you need. It is super clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) , the bed is really comfortable and here we really want to highlight the attention to detail in all rooms. In addition, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just love the small villages, the mountains and nature. A perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the tranquility. In the end, it is only to say that we are incredibly happy to have discovered this place, a week there was far too short and we can recommend this accommodation with full conviction. Exceptionally beautiful house in Tuscany. In a wonderful mountainous location with incredible views. Lucca, Pisa, Florence and many other destinations are easily accessible by car 😁 Mr. Biondo, who is actually the host, is an extremely accommodating and friendly man. Helpful and always available. I'd be happy to come back 😁

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Beautiful views, 20 min by car from the nearest town, not accessible without a car. The communication went great, the house was easy to find with navigation & the area is very nice

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

Beautiful cottage! Felt really welcome. Perfect place to just relax. In the morning you could walk to the bakery and get freshly baked bread. Before we arrived Dominick sent us a really nice welcome document with a lot of info of things to do!

Nice and quiet place. Beautiful views of the hills .Lost of outdoor space and sweet distance sound of the church bell. Lovely place to get back too after a busy day elsewhere.

Our little family loved our stay here. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s so much more beautiful in real life. The hosts were lovely and the villa felt just like being at home. It was very comfortable and the hosts accommodated our baby boy with a cot and high chair which was very helpful. It is a relatively short walk into the city centre of Lucca which was extremely handy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything perfect! We had a great time at Elisa's. The house matched the description and had everything we needed. Having a 1.5 year old child, she provided us with everything we needed for him, a cot and a high chair. Our son was free to roam without problems and obstacles. We felt right at home. The sea is just a short walk away. The area is very quiet, with maximum privacy and internal parking (perfect for unloading luggage with ease). There are all the necessary amenities nearby. Elisa is always available to answer all questions with suggestions. We will definitely be back ❤️

Gorgeous old house, great area to explore.

We visited La Casa di Elsa for the second time after having stayed there two years ago. We knew what to expect and our stay this time was even better than last time considering Marco and Graziella installed an above ground pool!! Our daughter absolutely loved spending the evenings in the pool, especially since we had the best two weeks of hot weather to make us really appreciate the joy of a refreshing dip. Graziella and Marco are the best hosts, very welcoming, are always responsive and are very respectful of the guest’s privacy. All in all a great visit and I’m sure we’ll be back for a third time :)

Very nice house tastefully renovated. Large garden ideal for children and evening aperitivo, watching the sunset over the mountains in the distance. Very clean and very functional with everything you need for a great stay. The host family is very friendly and gave us good advice on sightseeing and restaurants where to go. Great

We had a really nice time at this place! It is very quiet and private, located near Tereglio, so you can relax wonderfully in the middle of nature and mountains with a beautiful view! The cottage is rustic, you will find everything you need. The well-maintained and lovingly designed outdoor area with pool is particularly worth mentioning. Lorenza's parents are really very friendly and helpful hosts and always available for any request (e.g. luggage, etc.). Thank you so much! :) We would come back anytime!

Beautiful house in nature, location as a starting point for excursions to Lucca/Pisa/to the sea,... well suited.

Had wonderful days in the beautiful maisonette. Close to the city and quiet area. Very nice bed and everything was sparkling clean!

This was a very well equipped AIRBNB. The rooms are just like the pictures and it is very well appointed with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The host had left thoughtful extras, such as beer and wine, and fruit. Would recommend.

Beautifully restored and very cozy chestnut dryer (metato) in the hills above Bagni-di-Lucca with ample opportunities for excursions on foot or by car (Lucca, the valley of the Lima, the Ponte Magdalena, ...). It's unfortunate that Bagni itself is some past glory. The terraces in front of and behind the house allow you to enjoy the peace and the view from breakfast until late in the evening. Roberta, who welcomes the guests in the absence of the owners, is an absolute added value for the owners of "il metatino". We have never experienced its unprecedented commitment to both the stay and the guests during our previous holidays in AirBnB accommodations.

From the moment I checked in I felt at home. In addition to great restaurant recommendations, Martina was great in giving me unusual info, like a hair dresser. She even booked my appointment. She reserved my taxi to the station when I left which was so helpful as it was raining. Anytime I’m back in Lucca I’ll stay with Martina.

Casa Mimi is located in a small quiet place. The cottage has a great private pool and fenced garden which was very convenient for us as we were there with our dog. Everyone was super sweet, we were very nicely received and felt comfortable. Our dogs got along great and were always allowed to play with each other - our personal highlight!
